Behind them was a shimmering, endless expanse of sea, with seagulls flying across the horizon. White clouds adorned the clear blue sky, reflecting a hint of rainbow colours. On the beach, a couple embraced. From the perfect angle, the man appeared slim–waisted and long–legged, while the woman in his arms was petite and delicate. Even though their full faces were not visible, just their profiles were enough to leave one amazed.

Kate nodded enthusiastically, filled with delight. “Can I get the original digital copy?”

Her eyes sparkled with excitement, her face and eyes revealing unrestrained joy, making her look like a happy child. She then showed the photo to Eric “Ric look how beautifully it’s captured!”

As Eric glanced at the photo, he couldn’t help but squint a little.

The scene captured in the photo was incredibly beautiful and romantic, with the two embracing figures brimming with affection and fondness.

Even the usually discerning Eric couldn’t find a single flaw.

The photographer, who was about to send the original photo to Kate, abruptly stopped when she called out “Ric.” His gaze turned to Eric. “Are you… Mr. Eric Davison from Davison Group?”

At first, he was simply admiring the beautiful and romantic scene of Eric and Kate embracing. He was also struck by the good–looking face turned towards him, feeling a sense of familiarity but unable to recall where he had seen them before.

wife.”

He maintained a calm and friendly smile on his face, showing no signs of panic, and continued, “I was just surprised because I heard some rumours about you and your wife not getting along. But seeing you both together now, it’s obvious those rumours are baseless. Your relationship looks incredibly strong, probably better than any other couple’s.”

Flattery was something everyone enjoyed, and Eric was no exception.

Especially when the photographer’s words struck a chord with him he felt genuinely pleased.
