Damien looked down at Aurora from his towering height, eyes searching on her face.

“I just want to see what you’ve been hiding from me,” he said in a light voice. “Your power…it intrigues me.”

Suddenly a loud voice interrupted their eye contact.

Lance stood up from his seat, a stern look on his face.

“I will not allow it!” Lance gritted, glaring at Damien. “This is ridiculous. You are an Alpha for Christ’s sake! Your Alpha aura alone is enough to make people shit in their pants! This is not a fair game!”

“Don’t worry. This is only a friendly exchange. We are not on battlefield,” Damien said calmly. “I won’t use my Alpha aura, if that’s what worried you.”

“And to make it seem more reasonable-” Damien put his right hand into his pocket and said, “I’ll only use my left hand during the fight.”

“Sure. I accept your challenge.”

Damien held his breath involuntarily.

Yet there was an immediate disapproving sound from the Silver Blade Pack…

“Our Alpha bows to nobody!” Baron roared.

“Yeah! That is too much!”

Damien raised a hand, silencing all his members.

“Deal.” he said h**ly while keeping his gaze fixed upon Aurora. “And if you lose?”

“Then you can ask me to do anything.” Aurora smiled.

With that agreement established, the two of them moved into the wrestling ring.

Round 2 was about to begin!

Aurora squared her shoulders and glared at her opponent.

She knew that she was in for a tough fight.

Damien towered over her, his muscles bulging with strength.

But she welcomed challenge.

With a flick of her wrist and a twirl of her body, Aurora launched herself at Damien, fists swinging!

She aimed at his right side on purpose. Because Damien had promised to use his right hand only.

Damien stepped sideways to dodge.

Then he feinted to the left, quickly pivoted to the right, and landed a powerful blow on Aurora’s shoulder!

Aurora stumbled.

F**K! That hurts!

“Careful,” Damien said with a hint of smile.

Aurora quickly regained their balance and retaliated with a flurry of jabs and h**ks.

Their fight went on, each blow aimed with precision and power.

Yet something had changed at this point.

Something strange began to happen-

Their movements became fluid and graceful, a strange sort of dance that seemed almost… flirtatious.

Aurora dodged a blow, feeling the heat of Damien’s breath on her cheek.

She could see the surprise in his eyes as she twisted away, flipping over his head and landing on the other side.

This short interaction rendered both of them breathless and a quickening heartrate.

People were watching closely by the ring.

Eden gazed into the ring with a frown and then turned to Lance.

“Am I crazy?” he asked Lance perplexedly, “Or are they seriously flirting right now?”

Lance’s jaw tensed,

He gave Eden a deathly glare and gritted, “…Shut up.”

5 minutes had passed.

And they were still in a tie.

Aurora was beginning to feel tired. In the end, she couldn’t match Damien’s physical strength.

She needed to end this fight fast!

Aurora started to attack Damien with more powerful blows.

But she forgot all about defense when she was all about offence.

Suddenly, Damien caught an opening and landed a hard punch on her shoulder, sending Aurora blasted off her back!

“-Aurora!!”

Lance let out a sharp cry and jumped onto the ring.

He rushed to Aurora’s side and gently pulled her into his arms, “Oh my g**d! Are you OK?”

Aurora coughed and rubbed her shoulder.

It hurt like hell. But she could take it.

A hint of panic flickered across Damien’s eyes as he rushed forward as well.

“Are you alright?” he asked while offering a hand to Aurora.

Lance slapped Damien’s hand away and barked, “Friendly exchange my a**! You f**g hurt her! I’m going to rip your throat apart-”

“Don’t…” Aurora coughed and patted Lance’s arm. “I’m fine, Lance. He didn’t hurt me.”

She got onto her feet and moved around slightly.

“See?”

“OK, OK, you’ve proofed your point,” Lance nodded with worry. “Now stay still. I will ask Doctor Steve to take a look at you.”

Aurora sighed, “…Fine.”

Turning to Damien with a light smile, she said, “You win, Alpha Damien. Now you can tell me what you want me to

do.”

Damien stared at Lance’s hand on Aurora’s waist, his eyes darkened, I’ll tell you when it comes to mind

Aurora was canied off the ring by Lance.

Damien followed after them.

He was greeted by Chloe as soon as he got off.

“Alphal” Chloe grabbed his hand and cried excitedly. “Congratulation! You stepped out for me and wont You are my herol What are you going to ask of her? You should ask her to kneel down and apologize to me in front of

everyone!”

Yet Damien didn’t answer.

He was still looking at Aurora.

He had lost the right to stand by her side.

Chloe called him again, trying to get his attention back.

Damien suddenly shook off her hands and walked up to Aurora.

When he came close, he heard Lance talking to Aurora in a very intimate tone, “You are all sweaty now. Let’s go back to my room and you can shower and change there.”

Aurora nodded with a smile.

Damien couldn’t believe what he just heard.

All of a sudden, Baron’s conspiracy theory came ringing in his ears again:

“You are going into his room to shower?” he snapped.

“Hey!” Lance cried in rage. “What the f**k? Let go of her!”

Damien ignored Lance while tightening his grip.
