Chapter 49
Nolan’s POV
frustration. Every corner I turned, I hope
1 strode through the Crescent Moon Pack’s grounds, my thoughts a tangled mess of determination and fr to catch a glimpse of Nesta, or at least a clue leading to her.
But so far, my efforts have been in vain. Now, I was heading to speak with the young Alpha of this pack, hoping for some answers
When I reached the Alpha’s quarters, I knocked firmly on the door. It swung open, revealing Alpha Luca in all his imposing presence.
His eyes were sharp and unreadable, and his posture exuded authority. He does look like a real alpha. I took a deep breath, steadying myself.
“Alpha Luca” 1 greeted him, trying to keep my tone respectful yet assertive. I need to speak with you”
He nodded curtly and stepped aside, allowing me to enter his office. The room was spacious, adorned with dark wood furniture and large windows that let in the afternoon light. Luca motioned for me to sit, but I remained standing.
“I appreciate you taking the time to see me,” 1 began, my voice steady “I won’t beat around the bush. I’m not leaving your pack until I find Nesta.“
Luca’s expression hardened, his jaw tightening. I’ve already told you, I don’t know any Nesta,” he replied, his tone clipped. “And frankly, I find your persistence disrespectful. I suggest you leave my park immediately,”
His words struck a nerve, but I fought to keep my composure. “With all due respect, Alpha, I believe you’re not being entirely honest with me.” I said, trying to keep my frustration in check. “I have reason to believe she’s here, or at least someone here knows where she is.”
Luca’s eyes narrowed, a flicker of something–anger, perhaps–flashing in his gaze. I don’t take kindly to accusations, especially not from an outsider,” he said, his voice low and dangerous “You’re exhausting my patience”
I felt a surge of anger rise within me, but I knew I had to remain calm.
Tim not here to cause trouble,” I said, my tone softening sightly Tm here because Nesta important to me. I just want to find her and make sure she’s safe
Lura sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. “You’re not understanding me,” he said, his voice quieter but no less firm “Nesta is not here. If she were, I would tell you. But she’s not. And your continued presence here is becoming a problem..
I clenched my fists, struggling to hold back my frustration. “You must know something I insisted. “Even if it’s just a rumour or a whisper. Anything that can help me find her.”
Luca stood up, his expression resoluse. “Enough,” he said sharply. I’ve been patient, but this ends now. Leave my pack. If you refuse, I will have no choice but to remove you by force.
The threat hung heavy in the air, and I knew he meant every word. But I couldn’t give up, not when I was so close. I took a deep breath, forcing myself to remain calm.
“I understand,” I said finally, my voice barely above a whisper. But please, if you hear anything, anything at all, about Nesta, let me know. She’s all t have left.”
Luca’s expression softened just a fraction, but his resolve remained firm. “Il consider it,” he said. “But for now, you need to leave
I nodded, accepting his words even though they cut deep. “Thank you for your time, Alpha Luca,” I said, turning to leave.
As I walked away, my mind raced with frustration and desperation. I couldn’t shake the feeling that Luca knew more than he was letting on.
But for now, I had no choice but to leave and regroup. My search for Nesta was far from over, and I would not rest until I found her. This is just the start and Tam not willing to waste too much time.
The next morning, I awoke with a newfound resolve. The frustration and exhaustion from the previous day had only served to strengthen my determination.
I had promised Rowan I would bring Nesta back, and I intended to fulfil that promise, no matter the cost. After everything I have done, he deserves this.
Dressing swiftly, I prepared myself for the confrontation ahead. This time, I would not be asking, I would be demanding. I strode through the pack grounds with purpose, my steps echoing my resolve.
I reached Alpha Luca’s quarters, I didn’t bother knocking. I pushed the door open and walked in, my presence commanding the room.
Luca looked up, surprised and then wary, “What is the meaning of this? he demanded, rising to his feet.
I stood tall, my eyes locking onto his “I am done playing games, Alpha Luca” I said, my voice cold and authoritative. “1 am Nolan, the Alpha Prince.
You know who I am, and you know what I am capable of. I am done with the nice games. I have come for Nesta, and I will not leave without her‘
Lura’s eyes narrowed, but
the remained silent, watching me with a mixture of curiosity and caution.

“Nesta is my mate.” I continued, stepping closer. “And I know she is here, or you know where she is. If you do not bring her to me.
ser to me, your pack wi face the consequences”
Luca’s posture stiffened, and a flicker of anger crossed his face. “You come into my territory, making threats!” he asked, his voice low and dangerous. “You may be an Alpha Prince, but you are still an outsider here.”
“I am more than an outsider,” I replied, my voice steady and unwavering. “I am a prince, and I will not solerate deception or defiance. Nesta is my mate, and I will have her back. You can either cooperate, or face the repercussions.”
For a moment, the room was filled with tense silence, the air heavy with unspoken challenges. Then Luca sighed, his shoulders relaxing slightly.
“You truly believe she is your mate” he asked, his tone less confrontational, almost curious.
I don’t just believe it. I know it,” I said firmly. “And I will do whatever it takes to bring her back. Do not test me, Luca.”
Luca studied me for a long moment, then nodded slowly. “Very well,” he said finally, “I will tell you what I know. But understand this. Nolan–my loyalty is to my pack. I will not endanger them for anyone”
“Nor would I ask you to,” I replied, my tone softening just a fraction. “But Nesta is important, not just to me, but to the balance of power within our world. Help me find her, and we can avoid unnecessary conflict
Luca sighed again, running a hand through his hair. “Follow me,” he said, turning towards a door at the back of the room. “There is something you need to ser
1 followed him, a mix of relief and apprehension filled me. The confrontation had not gone as I had feared, and now, finally, I might be closer to Ending Nesta
