Chapter 45 A Harmonious Scene
Chapter 45 A Harmonious Scene
With the permission of Andrew, Nancy quickly cleaned up the debris on the ground.
Even the usually careless woman, Sophia, sensed the difference at the moment, but she didn't say
much and just observed carefully.
After changing the night robe for Sophia's mother, Sophia opened the door and walked out tiredly. At
the corner of the stairs, she saw that Andrew was leaning against the wall alone, with a cigarette in his
mouth, looking dispirited.
"Is that vase very important to you?" Sophia asked tentatively.
Andrew put out the cigarette, glanced at her from the corner of his eyes and replied indifferently,
"Nothing. It's just a gift from an old friend."
Old friend? For a moment, Sophia was stunned. A dead man?
She naturally took it in. Did her mother break the vase sent by a dead friend of Andrew?
After thinking for a while, Sophia felt guilty, but she didn't know what to do.
Seeing that Andrew didn't say anything, Sophia chose to leave first. It would be too embarrassing for
the two people to stay here all the time.
Tonight was the wedding night of the two, but lying on the bed, Sophia tossed and turned, unable to fall Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
asleep. All she could think about was that her mother had broken the vase for Andrew.
Sophia didn't know when she gradually fell asleep.
In her sleep, she felt as if a warm hand was holding her in its arms. The feeling was very strong, but
Sophia also felt that she was very clinging to the temperature of this arms, sleeping soundly in the
man's arms.
The sunshine outside the window shone on the bed, and the sun of the sunshine scattered on the soft
bed quilt.
The woman on the bed slowly opened her eyes. Sophia yawned, grabbed her phone and glanced at
the screen. Half past three in the afternoon?
She had slept for so long?
In a hurry, Sophia pulled the quilt and ran out of the bedroom. The whole villa was empty.
Sophia came to the second floor. The long hair of the woman sitting on the sofa fell on her shoulders,
and her eyes were gently staring out of the window. On the other side, Andrew was sitting on a chair
with a newspaper in one hand.
Such a comfortable scene was completely out of her expectation. Sophia had thought that Andrew only
cared about her mother in polite.
Maybe like those people, they would hate this crazy woman, but they didn't expect that the two of them
got along so well with each other.
"Well, well, have you had lunch?" Sophia glanced at Andrew uneasily.
Andrew put down the newspaper, glanced at the time on the wall, and said, "Let Nancy prepare lunch
for you."
With a blush on her face, Sophia nodded uneasily.
Sitting at the table with her phone in her hand, she had been thinking about something absent-minded.
But then again, it seemed that Andrew had always been so gentle to her. Although he seemed to be
good to her, more often, Sophia felt that there was something between the two of them.
But on second thought, Andrew was not as strict as the rumors said. He was always kind to others.
During the dinner, Andrew pulled out the dining table and sat down lazily. "I'll ask someone to
investigate my mother-in-law's matter. After dinner, we'll send her back to the hospital. What do you
think?"
