Later, multiple fake photos of Lukas Ronaldo began popping up on the inte, much to Xyla Quest's frustrations.

“I know that isn't real," she said without bothering with the pleasantries.

"There's a reason for it-" he said before pausing, taken aback by what she said.

His heart warmed in his chest as he never thought she would believe in him without at least questioning it first.

After all, that kind of reputation was a big deal.

"I know," she told him. "Tell me about it."

"Boss, why do you trust me so much?" he wondered.

"I know you're not that kind of kid. Tell me what happened, and we'll solve this together."

"Would you believe me if I told you I was forced to smoke?" he asked.

Xyla answered instantly. "Why wouldn't I? What exactly happened? Were you bullied at school?"

"Yeah, I was constantly bullied during elementary school," Lukas explained.
