Chapter 1058 Compromise

Little Bunny was angry. Tanya was even more upset and started cursing, "Who the hell said we were

supposed to stay with Mr Wold? We're staying here tonight and not going anywhere! Take all of

Caroline's things away from here!"

The staff member looked embarrassed and didn't know how this misunderstanding had occurred. It

was the director who had instructed him to do so. Tanya's outburst left him feeling a bit helpless.

Little Bunny glanced at the staff member and called out to Tanya, "Call the director and tell him that I

"Okay," Tanya angrily dialled the director's number, "Who allows you to clean up Little Bunny's room?

This is outrageous!"

The director responded with an unpleasant tone, "We have limited options here, there are only two

guesthouses in town. Originally we had booked both of them but when Mr Wold arrived unexpectedly,

one of them cancelled our reservation, leaving us no choice but to put all our artists into shared rooms."

"What does that have to do with us? Why should she take our room?"

"It has everything to do with you! Can't you see why Mr Wold is coming? She already has a place to

stay, why should she take up resources allocated for others?"

"You're being unreasonable! What does Mr Wold have anything got to do with us being kicked out?"

Little Bunny gestured for Tanya to hand over her phone. Tanya reluctantly handed it over. Without

hesitation, Little Bunny spoke directly into the phone, "Director, I never said I wanted to stay at

Theodore's place. Isn't it a bit much for you guys just go ahead without my consent?"

Upon hearing her voice, the director softened his tone slightly as he explained himself further, "Please

understand me. You also know Caroline's position in the entertainment industry right now, we finally

convinced her to give us a cameo appearance and that will help to increase exposure rates as well as

viewership ratings for our show."

"Just now Caroline's agent called me specifically, requesting that she be given a separate room. I

couldn't refuse. Please bear with it since Caroline will only be staying one day before leaving

tomorrow."

"That may be your problem," replied Little Bunny firmly without any intention of compromising on this

issue.

"Little Bunny, why are you making things difficult for me? Everyone knows about your relationship with

Mr Wold, so why bother hiding it? Mr Wold came all this way to see you, and tonight you can't possibly

accompany him, right?!" The director didn't want to offend Little Bunny too much. However, what

happened in the afternoon still made him a little angry.

"Just for one night. As soon as Caroline leaves tomorrow, I'll immediately clear out the room for you. I

promise to keep it reserved for you and no one else will use your room in the future." The director's

voice became a little humble.

Little Bunny had never had any grudges against anyone in the entertainment industry before. She

hesitated but still didn't want to agree. She couldn't possibly live with Theodore. Nor would she go to

his guesthouse either. But no one would believe that nothing was going on between her and Theodore.

If she refused the director now, he would have even more bias against her.

"Little Bunny, it's settled then." Without getting a response from her, the director quickly said again.

Little Bunny agreed with a sound and hung up the phone. Tanya looked at her anxiously and asked,

"What did he say?"

"Take our things out."

"What?!"

Tanya hadn't expected this outcome at all.

"I'll wait outside for you." Little Bunny turned around and left.

Tanya felt a little unhappy inside but eventually packed their luggage together with other crew

members. Outside of their guesthouse yard, Little Bunny waited anxiously while thinking about where

they could stay tonight.

In their car?

Since it was a very long journey to get here, they couldn't rent a nanny car. They only had an ordinary

business car. She wondered if it would be cold at night. As she pondered over these thoughts, she

heard some commotion from afar.

Turning around, she saw Caroline walking towards them surrounded by people. The reception was

quite grand. Their director personally went to receive her.

Indeed, Caroline had done well in developing herself within these years of being in showbiz.

Before, Little Bunny gave up a hard-won role to Caroline because she had a child with Theodore.

Caroline was quite capable and with that likeable supporting female role, she quickly became loved by

most people. Later, she starred in several popular TV dramas and then entered the film industry. She

participated in many variety shows and was now considered one of the top stars in the industry,

commanding high fees and having great influence.

When Caroline saw Little Bunny, she was pleasantly surprised and rushed over to hug her excitedly

saying, "Little Bunny! Long time no see!"

Little Bunny smiled politely but perhaps only she knew how unwilling Caroline was inside. Everyone

thought that they had a good relationship.

After filming that drama, during interviews, Caroline always mentioned Little Bunny as her benefactor to

whom she was grateful. She said they were very close. Fans thought they had an immortal friendship

at that time.

Little Bunny also believed it then. So after making her comeback later on, she went to find Caroline. At

that time, Caroline already had a place in the entertainment industry and promised to keep an eye out

for any good resources like TV dramas or variety shows for her. After waiting for three months without

hearing anything from Caroline's side, she went to ask her for any news. But she happened to hear

some sarcastic words from Caroline outside of her makeup room, saying, "Little bunny is too naive.

The resources in this circle are so limited, if I gave her all, what do I have? It's just a talk, I didn't expect

her to take it seriously. Lydia, find a little supporting role, anything you can get in my name, no need to

put a lot of thought into it. Give her an indifferent one so I can send her away."

That was when Little Bunny realized there wasn't any such thing as friendship within this entertainment

circle. Afterwards, she never looked for Caroline for help again but fortunately, luck seemed to be on

her side later on. When she thought that she could only rely on herself to make it in the entertainment

industry, Susan secretly helped her and landed her several major endorsements. This quickly gave her

exposure in the industry and caught the attention of directors who provided her with resources. She

had always been passionate about acting and approached every role with great seriousness, which

However, she was not as famous as Caroline who was more commercially valuable due to being a

celebrity beyond just acting. In terms of status in the entertainment industry, Caroline held a higher

position than her.
