Chapter 1065 Any Woman Would Be the Same to Him

Tanya's words left Little Bunny stunned for a moment. She appeared composed on the outside, holding

back her emotions, but inside she wondered if she could stand up to Caroline. After all, the injustice

was too much to bear. But Theodore was the only person she had never considered for help. She had

never trusted him and didn't believe he would ever help her in any way. But now that Tanya had

mentioned it, she indeed felt a twinge of curiosity.

"I don't think you need to put up with this kind of treatment." Tanya cautiously encouraged her.

Little Bunny had suffered many injustices in the entertainment industry. Many people speculated that

she only made it big because of some wealthy benefactor, but only Tanya knew how hard Little Bunny

worked for everything, from endorsements to roles, without relying on others' help or money. And

despite being in showbiz for so long, Little Bunny remained pure and untainted by any scandals or

rumours involving producers, investors, directors or other artists. Even when Theodore suddenly

showed up unannounced today during filming and startled everyone present, Little Bunny didn't seem

interested in flirting with him at all. His presence seemed more like an inconvenience than anything

else.

But now, Tanya felt grateful for Theodore's arrival. If he were here now and willing to grant Little

Bunny's requests, Caroline would finally get what was coming to her.

Little Bunny was torn inside though she said nothing in response. She didn't want to rely on that man.

But as they stood together silently inside the makeup room, the door was knocked from outside.

"Miss Little Bunny, Stord is waiting for you on set. Caroline has already gone ahead!"

"How could she prepare herself so quickly?" Tanya remarked incredulously upon hearing this news.

Amidst their surprise, however, came disdain. Tanya commented, "She must be faking it."

Little Bunny also understood exactly what was going on here too. But rather than dwell on it any longer

than necessary, she simply opened the door and stepped out into view once more.

As she walked over, they heard Caroline apologizing profusely for delaying the shoot due to her

reasons. She was playing up her good-girl image. When Caroline saw Little Bunny arrive, she quickly

approached and took her hand. "Hey, Little Bunny. You're not still angry, are you?"

Little Bunny looked at her fake appearance in disbelief. She admired how Caroline could turn even her

life into a play.

"No," Little Bunny forced a smile. In front of so many people, she couldn't do anything to Caroline. All

she could do was calm things down and finish filming as soon as possible so that Caroline would leave

"That's good," said Caroline with a smile. "How's your face? Does it hurt?"

"Not really."

"My agent was careless earlier. Don't blame her though, she cares about me too." Complained

Caroline while also showing off.

Little Bunny just smiled faintly and said, "Let's start filming."

"Okay," agreed Caroline immediately before saying some polite words to the crew members on set.

Filming officially began.

Thanks to the great acting skills of both Little Bunny and Caroline, they breezed through several

scenes together without any issues.

Caroline finished filming quickly.

After finishing everything up on set, Carolina bowed politely to thank all the crew members before

leaving for the dressing room to change clothes and remove makeup.

"I've packed my bags already and have asked our driver to wait outside. We'll leave directly after this

for lunch." Carolina's agent was arranging their schedule.

Caroline paused while taking off her earrings, "We're going overseas only after tomorrow, right?"

"Yes, so you can rest for another day once we get back."

"I want to stay here for one more day." Replied Caroline.

"What?" Her agent was surprised by this request, since based on what she knew about Caroline, there

wasn't any reason why she would want an extra day in such an inconvenient place like this one.

"There are too many winding roads out there, it will make me feel uncomfortable again since I didn't

sleep well last night, plus I woke up early today." explained Caroline, "Besides, coming here is an

opportunity that I should take advantage of by spending more time with Stord so that he won't give

away my role."

Although the agent felt that Caroline's approach was different from her usual style, she was convinced

by Caroline in the end.

"If that's the case, then it's okay."

"Go outside now and buy some cooked food to bring back. We will invite the cast and crew for dinner

tonight."

"Okay."

That would help her impress the film group without a doubt.

Caroline looked at her agent in the mirror and smirked wickedly. Her intention was Theodore. She

wouldn't allow herself to fail this time.

After the makeup removal was completed, her agent went directly to purchase dinner for the evening,

giving Caroline some alone time. She once again went to Theodore's guesthouse.

Upon arriving there, the owner who had seen Caroline yesterday did not stop her from entering.

"Is Mr Wold here?"

"In the yard," the boss quickly said, "waiting for Miss Little Bunny to have lunch."

Caroline felt a little unhappy when she heard her boss say that. To her surprise, Little Bunny made

Theodore wait for her. She said a few polite words to the boss and then headed straight for the elegant

backyard of the homestay.

At that moment, Theodore was sitting there on a rocking chair, resting with his eyes closed. Caroline

walked over quietly. As she walked up to him, her body was tensed up. Theodore exerted a strong

force on her arm, causing her to fall directly into his embrace. Theodore hasn't even opened his eyes,

hugging her tightly. Then, a deep kiss was imprinted on Caroline's lips. Her heart fluttered slightly. She

couldn't forget Theodore's rejection of her last night and that had been weighing heavily on her mind.

She closed her eyes and kiss him actively.

Little Bunny stood nearby and watched them, wondering whether she should go over there or not.

For Theodore, any woman would be the same to him. Her thought of asking him for help perished. So

she turned around and was about to leave.

"Miss Little Bunny!" Theodore's assistant Samson suddenly came in from outside, calling out to her.
