Caroline's screams were non-stop, which also woke up other people.

There was a knock on the door outside, and someone asked, "What's going on? What happened?!"

Caroline quickly covered her mouth. She quickly got up from the bed and picked up the clothes

scattered all over the floor. She hastily put them on while crying. That was an unprecedented

humiliation for her. Hatred had swallowed her up.

She dared not to leave through the door, and thus she decided to get out through the window.

Caroline climbed up the window and jumped down. She fell directly onto the ground. Caroline was in

pain all over her body, tears streaming down her face. But she didn't dare to make any noise. After

tidying up her outfit, she left from the other side.

When she got back to the inn, her agent who had been looking for her for a whole night was expecting

her. As she saw the bruises on Caroline, she said with a long face, "You're going to receive an award

tomorrow. How are you going to get on stage like this? !"

"Tomorrow will be fine," Caroline said casually, too afraid to tell her agent that she had slept with a man

last night. "I'll just touch up my makeup when the time comes."

"Where did you go last night?"

"You went to find Theodore?" the agent asked again.

She was well aware of Caroline's intention, but she didn't expose anything about it, thinking that it

wouldn't harm them anyway.

Caroline did not answer.

"Theodore is so rude," murmured the agent. "Hurry up and get ready, or we'll be late."

Caroline had to swallow her frustration and went into the bathroom to freshen up, having no idea how it

turned out like this last night. When Caroline left the inn, she passed by Theodore's homestay and saw

that he was also getting ready to get into his car and leave.

"Stop the car," Caroline called out to the driver.

The agent saw that it was Theodore and held back from stopping Caroline. She only urged her to hurry

up. Caroline quickly walked up to Theodore, who glanced at her with a darkening face.

"Mr Wold, last night, I..."

"You got drunk and wanted to leave, so I let you go," Theodore coldly replied. "Is there a problem?"

"No no, it's..." Caroline said hastily. "I mean last night..."

"Oh, I don't like women who get drunk," Theodore stated bluntly.

Caroline felt embarrassed by his words. If it wasn't for Theodore constantly urging her to drink last

night, how could she have gotten drunk?

"Are you leaving now?" Theodore asked.

"I have to leave because I'm going overseas tomorrow for an award ceremony." Caroline forced a smile

and asked, "Are you leaving now?"

"Mhm."

"Isn't Little Bunny still filming for two more days?"

"Don't mention her name in front of me again." His face turned cold.

That made her think that there was some conflict between him and Little Bunny. Caroline wanted to ask

more questions but before she could say anything else, Theodore got into the car and slammed the

door shut hard. His car drove off into the distance.

Caroline felt uneasy about how indifferent he had been towards her again this time around. She ended

up being taken advantage of this time.

On fire with anger, she returned inside the car, where her agent noticed that something wasn't right with

her mood but didn't ask any further questions.

The car was driving down a winding road. Suffering from car sick, the agent took out her phone and

checked out some latest entertainment news.

"Caroline! Little Bunny is in headlines again." Said she.

"What happened?" Caroline frowned upon hearing this news.

"The news from yesterday has come out again, where Little Bunny slapped you. Now it's trending all

over social media once more."

Upon seeing these new headlines reappearing, Caroline felt better instantly, knowing that although

things didn't go according to her plan with getting closer towards Theodore, being able separate

Theodore from Little Bunny and causing harm towards that woman could be seen as somewhat of an

achievement for her.

She thought it must be Theodore who had sent the news out again since he could have had no feelings

for Little Bunny, and that was why he treated her this way.

Little Bunny deserved it.

"This time, even a god won't be able to save Little Bunny." The agent sighed.

If it weren't because Caroline didn't dislike Little Bunny so much, she would have tried to sign her. She

thought Little Bunny was a talented actress with great potential and could become very popular if she

was given the right opportunity. But now, it turned out that she could only destroy this actress since she

couldn't sign her. That was just how things worked here.

Caroline left.

Theodore left too. Of course, Theodore didn't leave of his own accord. It was because of Little Bunny's

pleading that he did it for Caroline's sake.

But in reality, Little Bunny still had ulterior motives that she wanted Theodore gone because she

couldn't stand being around him anymore. And because of him, filming was delayed and she got some

problems with accommodation. Once he left, everything would return to normal and she could focus on

her acting again.

As expected, as the news got out, rumours started flying again about her. But that wouldn't last long

either. Maybe just until tomorrow, they could finally get rid of Caroline completely.

After finishing a scene on set, Addison stopped her and said, "Little bunny, I want to talk with you

alone."

She nodded and followed him over towards a secluded corner of the set, where they wouldn't be

disturbed by anyone else around them.

"What is your relationship with Theodore? Did you offend him? He seems like someone who would

purposely leak news about you." He asked bluntly

After all these days, Addison couldn't take it anymore, even though his manager warned him

repeatedly not to get close to or speak with Little Bunny these past few days.

"It's nothing serious, we'll resolve it soon enough."

"Little Bunny," Addison took a deep breath before continuing, "why don't you quit show business?"

She stared at him in shock as he continued talking, "You've offended Theodore, there's no way for you

to continue developing your career here. Now that everyone has turned against you, Stord has already

started discussing replacing you!"

Before she could even begin explaining herself, Addison spoke up loudly yet firmly, "If you quit, I'll take

care of you and make you a living!"
