Chapter 351 Unexpected Guests

Chloe and Sophia walked to her. "What's the matter, Helena? We saw you talking to Travis earlier. Has

he responded to your confession?"

Seeing Helena's tearful eyes, they were shocked.

"Has he rejected you?"

Holding Chloe, Helena burst into tears. "No, he didn't. But it's no difference."

Furrowing her brows, Sophia asked, "What on earth happened? Calm down, Helena. Tell us what

happened. We can analyze it for you."

Chloe nodded and echoed, "Exactly. Don't cry, Helena. Probably you've misunderstood him."

Helena was always strong. In her career, she never shed tears whenever she had difficulties. However,

she had become weak when confronting Travis.

Sniffing, Helena told them about her conversation with Travis earlier.

Chloe asked Sophia, "Do you know Travis has a crush on someone?"

"I never paid attention to this matter. It's possible, though. However, I haven't seen him treat any

woman in a special way."

Helene looked disappointed. "I feel he has rejected me in that way. He also asked me if I wanted to

know who she was."

Looking puzzled, Chloe asked, "Is it possible he meant you, Helena?"

Helena shook her head. "Why didn't he say it bluntly if it was me?"

Chloe felt weird. "By the way, Sophia, can you inquire about it? If Travis does have a crush, Helena

should stop her unrequited affection and forget him ASAP."

Sophia agreed with her. If Travis had fallen in love with someone else, Helena should stop it

determinedly to avoid being hurt. Besides, she had unrequited affection for many years and should let it

go.

Helena wiped her tears. Although reluctant to face it, she must. Therefore, she was determined to

accept the result, no matter what.

Much to their surprise, when they arrived in the living room, several people entered the house.

"Mr. and Mrs. Lawson, merry Christmas. My parents and I dropped by to send our best wishes," said

Sara, the CEO assistant of Lawson Group.

She carried many gift bags, followed by her parents.

Sophia felt surprised, wondering why Sara had come over.

Although many people dropped by to send gifts yearly, this was the first time a company employee had

come to their house.

Helena whispered, "Travis has worked with Sara for a long time. Is she his crush? Did they come here

to inform your parents about it?"

Chloe and Sophia didn't answer, realizing it seemed possible.

Soon, Sophia whispered to her, "Stop overthinking, Helena. If it was so, Travis and my parents should

go to their house instead. But they actively came to our house."

Helena had to admit that Sophia's words made her feel better.

Travis walked to them. "Hi, Sara. Why are you here?"

Sara answered with a smile, "Sorry, Mr. Lawson. I didn't call you ahead before taking my parents to

your family. You have supported me all through the years so I achieved my current position in the

company. To express my gratitude, I came over with my parents."

Evidently, Travis wasn't pleased about their visit.

However, others could tell Sara had come over for Travis.

After all, all of them were brilliant to know the purpose of Sara's visit.

"Did we come at an inappropriate time?" As the CEO's assistant, Sara was clever to sense something

wrong.

Laura answered, "It's alright. Why don't you stay for lunch? Sara, please don't bring any gifts when

coming over in the future. We support you for your value. If you want to thank us, keep up your good

work."

Sara could tell the Lawson family didn't welcome her.

With a smile, Sophia looked at Helena. "Relieved?"

Helena shook her head. "I don't know if Travis has a crush on her."

"I don't think he does. Even if he does, this visit will stop him." Sara dropped by without an appointment

ahead. It could be told she was scheming. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Sorry, Mrs. Lawson. I wasn't considerate," Sara apologized, knowing when to stop.

"Ehn. We have many young guests today. I think you can have fun together."

"Thank you, Mrs. Lawson."

Sara's parents were not warmly welcomed, either. They could tell the Lawson family didn't have the

intention to let their daughter marry Travis at all.

However, the Lawsons didn't disrespect them. While chatting, they talked to Sara's parents from time to

time instead of ignoring them.

Sara approached Travis and asked tentatively, "Mr. Lawson, I'm terribly sorry for not making an

appointment ahead."

"I don't hope to see it happen again," Travis answered sternly.

"I'm so young but have been promoted to the CEO assistant, so I feel appreciated. Besides, I've never

visited your family over the years. So I dropped by."

Her words made sense, but Travis wasn't convinced.

He asked in a harsh tone that Sara had never heard of, "As a CEO assistant, don't you know what a

good manner is?"

Sara could tell he was angry, realizing what she had done disappointed him.

It also meant Travis didn't have any feelings for her.

"Did you think I'd refuse you if you made an appointment?"

Clenching her fists, Sara answered, "I did. That was why I didn't inform you ahead of time."

Travis looked at her. "Sara, I'm unhappy with your sudden visit today."

Although it was Christmas, Travis didn't forgive her.

All in the house were smart. Sara suddenly visited the Lawson family to test if Travis had a crush on

her. However, Travis replied with a determined attitude, letting her know he didn't.

"Sorry, Mr. Lawson. This won't happen again."

Sara knew she must admit her mistake when it was necessary.

Besides, she was the closest woman to Travis. Though she failed this time, she still had chances.

Travis didn't reply to her.

Sara stopped disturbing him, walking towards Sophia.

"Hi, Ms. Lawson. It's a great honor to meet you," Sara greeted her, reaching out.

This was her first plan--getting along with Travis' sister. As long as Sophia liked her, she would have

more chances.
