Then Max commented, "We're both from the dark clans. Neither of us is more noble nor lowly than the other. In my opinion, it's worthwhile to befriend the werewolves and work together."

Raytor as well as his men stared at Max in disbelief.

This vampire is an oddball! The regular vampires usually think very highly of themselves and look down on any living things, to the extent that they despise any clan members with a mixed background. Max is different. He's not as arrogant as the other vampires. He even said we could be friends. How bizarre!

The werewolves had long been receiving insults from the vampire, and they were so touched by Max's sincerity.

After all, the werewolves would never expect respect from the vampires, not even in their wildest dreams. Raytor was dubious. "Are you serious?"

displeasure, Max added, "However, I can assist you in your revenge out of goodwill Take it as a prelude to our full collaboration. If things go well between us, we can then form an alliance. It's never too late to

Raytor had plans to take revenge on Nathan.

He was elated to hear that Max was willing to lend him a hand. No matter how he thought about it, he had no reason to reject the offer.

He narrowed his eyes and pondered
