Rosetta sat at the dining table silently waiting for her food to arrive. She could understand that Elena is trying to laugh more loudly and trying to talk about their so called fun memories to make her jealous.

Rosetta took out her phone when it vibrated in her pocket. Her face visibly tensed when she saw the text message from Vlad. It was unknown number but she knows that it’s Vlad.

‘you haven’t forgotten about me, have you Rosy?… Well you shouldn’t be because I won’t let that happen… You hurt me sweetheart, you killed my men for that bastard. Why are you making this so much difficult, come to me and we will live happily. You have no idea how much I love you… Why are you staying in that fake marriage. You deserve love which only I can give you… The more you make me wait, more you will regret in future…

Rosetta quickly deleted the message and placed her phone in her pocket. She thought he has stopped messaging her but she was wrong.

She sighed rubbing her face, in these few days she almost forgot that she have to make herself prepare to fight with Vlad. Skyler almost distracted her.

She realised that she is focusing on useless things. She have to focus on martial arts. Blushing and smiling on small compliments, getting jealous isn’t her style. Since when she started to give importance to these kind things.

She was eating her lunch silently until Elena said something.

“Rosetta?… I am talking to you…”

She said.

Rosetta looked at her.

“Sorry I wasn’t listening…”

She replied.

“I said I am taking your husband somewhere special… It’s been long since we have spent ‘friends’ time…”

She grinned.

Rosetta shrugged giving normal expression like she doesn’t give one single fuck.

“Sure…”

She replied and started eating.

Elena frowned at her careless behavior, in morning she wasn’t like this.

Skyler looked at Rosetta but she didn’t even glanced at him. He could see that he has offended her very badly. He never wanted it to happen like this.

Rosetta’s phone again beeped and this time she deleted messages without reading it.

Elena saw it and was peacking in her phone curiously.

“Look like someone important… Who is disturbing you on your honeymoon…”

She mocked.

Rosetta gave her cold stare.

“Elena, I don’t like when someone interfere in my private life. Who is texting me is none of your business, I think you are educated and mature enough to understand this…”

She said firmly.

“I am not interfering in your life and I expect you to do the same…”

“Why you are so serious, I was just joking…”

Elena rolled her eyes.

Rosetta shook her head at her bitchy behavior and decided to ignore her.

When she was about to finish her food Elena again opened her bitchy mouth.

“Don’t mind me asking but why do you have so many scars on your body Rosetta…”

Rosetta looked at her with blank poker face. She was annoyed by this girl in just one day.

“Don’t mind me, I am just curious… Don’t you feel ugly. How can you feel confident in revealing clothes… Looks like you don’t take care of yourself…”

She blabbered.

“If you want I can give you my surgeon’s number, he can help you with this… Look at my skin, it’s so smooth… Let me tell you men love this. Girls should be appealing, it’s a ultimate weapon.”

She said flaunting her hair. Skyler sighed at her stupid words. He knows how stupid Elena can behave sometimes but he only tolerate her stupidity because of their friendship.

Rosetta chuckled at her immature behavior.

“I can change it whenever and however I want Elena but I don’t want to, because I love my body. I love my scars and I am proud of them… They are not ugly… And about men then my body is not an object to use it to satisfy some man’s need. I don’t care if people see it as an attractive body or not because I am confident in it… I am not people pleaser like you…”

Elena clenched her jaw at her face slapping reply. She couldn’t show her down no matter what she do. Rosetta is hard nut to crack.

Rosetta excused herself and walked towards her room.

“She is so rude”

Elena said.

Skyler looked at her disappointed.

“Since when you started to judge people like this Elena… You are better than this… I don’t want you to mess with Rosetta. I like her the way she is, I love her scars and you have no idea how she got them so don’t comment on it…”

She stated.

Elena looked bothered, she wasn’t expecting this kind of reaction from skyler.

“No, I was just___”

Skyler stopped her.

“It doesn’t matter what you were trying to do…. But stay away from Rosetta, she can break your all teeth just in one punch and can’t do anything… Control your mouth in front of her, it’s better if you don’t talk to her at all…”

He tried to make her understand.

“And I can’t go anywhere with you… I have to attend important function with Rosetta.”

Elena was angry by his words but tried to play it cool.

“I understand… What kind of function?… Can I join too…”

She asked.

“I am actually bored at home.”

Skyler shook his head and stood up.

“No you can’t… It’s about mafia…”

“Sky please…”

Elena pleaded.

Skyler glared at her.

“I said no… Don’t you understand. Why you are so annoying… You are not kid anymore Elena, behave like a mature woman…”

He scolded and walked away.

Elena closed her eyes frustratingly.

“He never talked to me like this, he was always gentle… It’s all your fault Rosetta. You snatched my Skyler away from me… You will pay for it…”

She spat and threw the plate on the floor angrily.

Skyler started looking for Rosetta and finally found her in gym. She was punching the bag furiously.

Her mind was on Vlad, she haven’t solved it yet and she has another problem in form of masked man. She couldn’t understand why her life is full of problems.

“You shouldn’t practice this… Your shoulder is still healing…”

Skyler said and she looked at him.

“What do you want?”

She asked literally glaring at him.

“We need to attend meeting tonight… It’s about mafia business…”

He informed.

“I can’t attend, I have work to do…”

She replied and resumed her boxing.

“You have to Rosetta… Your parents will be present there.”

He countered.

“They know I don’t like to get involved in mafia business… It won’t be problem… I think you can handle it…”

She replied unbothered and skyler closed his eyes frustratingly.

He tried to make her understand but she didn’t listen. Skyler realised that she is angry with him and he can understand.

He let her be and went to the meeting alone. Rosetta saw him driving away from the window.

She doesn’t regret her decision. He can’t cope up with the man who see her as just a thing to satisfy his needs.

She closed the window and was about to leave the room but her phone rang.

She received the call and her eyes widened.

“What?”

She said in disbelief.
