“Let’s go to the bedroom.”

Skyler grabbed her hand and led her towards their bedroom before she actually starts speaking.

Skyler led her towards the washroom and made her stand under the shower. She was drenched in blood.

“This is not important skyler, I can bath later… Listen to me first before something disturbs us”

She pleaded.

“I am listening… Tell me.”

He said.

“I agreed to marry you under contract because I had reason…”

She began.

Skyler didn’t react as he starts taking off her dirty clothes. He pulled off her hoodie over head.

“Don’t stop”

He demanded with hard tone.

“It’s been almost one year that Vlad solkov is stalking me…”

She said and his eyes stopped on her face for a moment still he didn’t react.

“He was calling me continuously, sending me vulgar and threatening messages… Sending me bouquets and letters… I don’t know where he exactly saw me but he claims that he loves me…”

Her eyes were fixed on his face. She was closely inspecting his expressions. His jaw ticked when she said ‘he claims to be in love with her.

“I tried to deal with him by myself… I told him I am not interested, I ignored him thinking he will stop but it didn’t help… After few days he started crossing his limits. He used to appear in front of me anywhere, we often got involved in fights but he is stronger than me which resulted in me being beaten up by him.”

Skyler kept his face straight and turned on the shower letting it fall on her body. He started cleaning her face gently.

“He started threatening me about my family but I decided to deal with him by myself… I never wanted to tell this to anyone but I can’t hold it back anymore. He has crossed all limits now. He has attacked us many times. On our wedding day, he was going to kill you in your office that’s why I suddenly showed up in your office day… He attacked us when we were on island… He is the one who tried to frame you yesterday… He sent me your pictures with some woman and that’s how I reached to you. And today he tried to kidnap me…”

She confessed everything.

Skyler looked at her with mad face.

“And you are telling me this now?”

He gritted.

“I thought i can deal with him but I can’t… I can’t deal with this anymore…”

Her eyes watered. She was feeling too vulnerable for unknown reason.

Skyler is the only person with whom she is Being like this. She doesn’t show her weakness to anyone but she doesn’t want to hide herself from him.

Till now she tried to become like her mother, she suppressed her feelings and emotions but she doesn’t want to do that anymore. It took long enough for her to understand that she can’t be like her mother.

“You think!?”

Skyler glared at her.

“You think Rosetta!?… He is Russian mafia don, he is not some road side Romeo. I, my father, your father are dealing with him for years and he is still alive because he is not weakling. We couldn’t kill him till now so what makes you think that you can deal with him alone… Martial arts are not enough”

He scolded.

She blinked away her tears.

“I know but___”

“No!”

“You don’t know anything… You should have tell this to your family at the very first day… You are lucky that no one has died yet… You think this is fun. How can you take this so lightly?”

“I know I was wrong… I should have tell this to my family…”

She wiped her tears.

Skyler closed his eyes frustratingly.

“”Why?… Why were you dealing with this Alone?… Do you know how serious this matter is?… What if he would have succeeded today?… Where would I supposed to look for you?”

She looked down guiltily. Skyler shook his head and turned around to leave.

Rosetta rushed towards him and hugged him from behind, stopping him.

“Please don’t turn your back on me… I know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have taken it lightly. I know I endangered everyone’s Life. I know I did mistake but please don’t leave me… I need you.”

She pleaded.

“It was my first time that I had to slaughter people… I am not used to this. I can’t take that seen out of my mind. I tried to be brave but I can’t pretend anymore. I am not brave, i can’t slaughter people like my mother. I can’t be ruthless like my father. I can’t deal with people like you do… I don’t like this criminal world. I don’t want to deal with it anymore, I can’t….”

She sobbed tightening her grip on him.

Skyler removed her hands and turned around. He looked at her with worried face, she was crying mess.

He sighed and cupped her face while kissing her forehead.

“I am sorry… I shouldn’t have overreact like this…”

He said gently.

“Your safety is all what matters to me… I can’t let him take you away from me…”

He pulled her in his embrace.

“I am going to kill him… You don’t have to worry about it anymore… Leave it to me…”

Rosetta tightened her hold on him and closed her eyes releasing a sigh of relief. She was feeling light after letting go burden of secrets. She doesn’t have to hide anything anymore.

“Is there something else I should know?… Don’t hide anything from me…”

He asked as they dried their bodies.

Rosetta wore her sweatshirt and looked at him. She thought for a second, debating about masked man. Skyler was looking at her suspiciously as she became silent.

Rosetta released a shaky breath. She decided to tell him everything. No more secrets anymore.

“There is one more… I haven’t seen his face yet. He is like my mother, assassin type. He wears mask.”

She confessed fiddling with her fingers nervously.

Skyler crossed his hands over his chest.

“And?”

He asked with raised eyebrows.

“I don’t know anything about him… He appears out of nowhere and disappears like he wasn’t even present…”

She said.

“He saved me today and has helped me before too… But I don’t feel good around him. He is trying to turn me against you. He always says bad things about you…”

“Why?… Why he is trying to turn you against me?”

Skyler questioned.

Rosetta gulped looking at him. She has no idea how is he going to react. First Vlad and now masked man.

“He is interested in me”

She mumbled looking away. She doesn’t want to see skyler’s reaction.

Skyler Frowned.

“What?… Say it loudly…”

Skyler couldn’t hear her mumbling.

“He said he is interested in me”

She blurted out loudly.
