Chapter 13 She Has a Nosebleed Again
Chapter 13 She Has a Nosebleed Again
Matilda winded her eyes in disbelief, “What?”
How could Samuel find Rebecca?
He had never seen Rebecca, so he did not know what she looked like. And Aaron would not let him
find her!
“Liar! You can't find Rebecca!” Matilda shook her head in disbelief. “Impossible!”
Samuel showed a cold smile, “You don’t believe?”
Matilda shook her head and said firmly, “I don't believe!”
She trusted Aaron who could not let Samuel find her daughter.
Samuel nodded, clasped her wrist and strode her out.
Matilda was pulled by him and almost fell down. She hurried to spare a hand to hold her clothes,
stumbling to keep up with Samuel's footsteps.
As they went out of the ward, Laney came out from a doctor's office, looking at them in consternation,
“Samuel, what is wrong?”
Samuel's steps slowed and he frowned. “Why are you in the hospital? What's wrong with you?”
Laney rubbed her legs in the wheelchair and said, “My legs hurt. Come and have a check. What's
going on between you and my sister? Oh...Why is your sister dressed like that?”
She covered her mouth as if in shock.
Matilda sneered, “Don't you know what happened to me?”
Laney raised her eyebrow, pretending to be innocent, “Sister, what do you mean?”
Matilda was really fed up with her false appearance and said in a disgusted manner, “Don't act
anymore! Did not you arrange all this yourself?”
“Matilda!” Samuel was angry. He grasped her wrist and said, “Shut up! Don't put your own fault to
Laney. She has been harmed enough by you!”
Matilda was stunned and afflictive, even her eyes turned red. She tried hard to hold back tears, facing
the cold Samuel calmly.
Samuel mercilessly stared at her, and then turned to Laney. His expression became soft.
“Since you don't feel well, go home early after you see the doctor.” He turned to coldly Matilda. “I have
something to deal with.”
Then he pulled Matilda and continued to walk out.
Laney pushed wheelchair to follow up, “Samuel, what is going on? Is there any misunderstanding
between you and my sister?”
She was concern and nervous, following all the way. From NôvelDrama.Org.
Samuel did not respond, silently sped up his pace, pulling Matilda down the stairs.
But at this time, behind suddenly came a loud clang, Laney fell down.
She fell out of her wheelchair and tumbled down several steps. The wheelchair tipped over with the
wheels still spinning.
“Laney!” Samuel instantly left Matilda and ran towards Laney. He picked her up nervously, “How are
you doing? Do you get hurt?”
The man's handsome face was full of tension and care.
Matilda stood aside. Looking at his concern for Laney, thinking of his cold face when facing her, she felt
her heart in pain.
“I'm fine...” Laney forced a smile and said in a considerate and kind-hearted manner, “Samuel, don't
worry, I am fine.”
Samuel picked her up and went to the nearest doctor's office.
“I'll take you to have it examined.”
After walking a few steps, he turned back and warned the stiff Matilda in a cold voice, “Matilda, stand
here. If you dare to leave, I'll be rude to that your daughter!”
After the warning, he strode, holding Laney in his arms, and quickly entered the ward.
Looking at his disappearing figure, Matilda lost her strength and fell straight down on the floor.
Her nasal cavity became hot, and she began to bleed again.
Matilda clutched her nose. The warm blood could not stop flowing from between her fingers. It fell down
on the floor, shocking.
“Gee, what's wrong with you?” A passing female nurse saw it, quickly came over and held up Matilda,
“I will take you to deal with it.”
Matilda shook her head, but she was so exhausted that she fainted before she could say anything.
