Chapter 483 Does Denial work?

Alice packed up things when Kennedy finished eating. She washed the insulation barrel and put it back

to the table. After that, she took a look at her phone.

It was already after eight o'clock. When she looked out the window, she found it was dark outside.

Before she came to the hospital, Yanis said she would pick up Jack, so that she would have nothing to

worry about.

Seeing that she held a phone, Kennedy frowned, “Do you want to go back?”

Hearing that, Alice put the phone away, pursing her lips, “I will be here for you, don't worry.”

Kennedy raised his eyebrow and was surprised that she would stay. He thought he would make the

tricks again.

Kennedy was not angry or ashamed by what she said.

Hearing that, Alice thought of what Kennedy did, with her face changed. Sure enough, those moves

you have to lie on your stomach when you sleep and avoid touching and pulling the wound, lest lead to

The doctor had made it clear. Alice sure understood it and nodded, “Ok, doctor, I will remember it and

remind him.”

Alice, so he thought they were a couple. He said before he left, “Take good care of your husband, this

“Are you sleepy? Shall I help you to get some sleep?”

Kennedy shook his head and sat there looking at her.

After a moment of thinking, Alice found a higher chair and put two pillows on it.

“It is ok if you don't want to sleep, but you will be tired sitting like that. Here, if you're tired, you can lean

on the pillows.”

She said, pointing to the two pillows.

Kennedy looked bad looking at these two pillows.

How could he lie over his stomach in face of Alice, it look embarrassing.

He did not move, Alice did not move either, the air seemed static and weird. After a moment, Alice

looked at him, “Don’t you want to lie down? Aren't you tired of sitting all the time?”

Kennedy looked at her with a smile, “You want me have some sleep?”

Alice nodded, “You can say so, or your wound will be hard to recover. I turn around, if you mind me

seeing it.”

Alice found there was a small bed and was to sleep there this night, but as she turned around,

Kennedy caught her wrist. She then found Kennedy took away the pillows and said to her, “Have a

seat.”

Alice, “What do you want to do?”

“Sit down and you will know.”

She sat down with a puzzled look on her face. As soon as she sat down, Kennedy slipped a pillow into

her back and another pillow on her leg, and then he lay down on his stomach over the pillow.
