Chapter 3112

Chapter 3112

“Adrian!” Caroline said seriously. “If you hadn’t messed around with Celine and done those things, why would Emma call Celine’s family to take her away?

“And Mom was the one who told Emma to do that. You should look for Mom to settle the score if you have the balls. Why are you blaming Emma?

“You’re heartbroken because Celine’s dead, aren’t you? It’s obvious that you guys have always only cared about her. In your hearts, Celine is your real sister. Who the hell am I, right? Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“But Celine isn’t your sister! Adrian, Emma’s your wife, the person you’re supposed to spend the rest of your life with. You even have children together. Do you think it’s right to treat Emma like this? What about your children?

“Mom even helped you by hiding the fact that you caused Celine’s death from the public.

“All you know is to blame others. Why don’t you reflect on your mistakes?

“If you hadn’t cheated and messed around with Celine, would Emma have gone looking for you to confront you? Celine wouldn’t have died either. That’s why, I said, you caused Celine’s death.

“Why? Do you want to seek justice and avenge Celine? If you really want to, you should go to where she fell from and jump from the same spot right now. That’ll be the same as helping her get revenge because her real killer is you!

“I know you guys felt bad for Celine and couldn’t bear to see her penniless and homeless. But if you had secretly sponsored her, all Mom and Emma would’ve done when they found out would be to scold you and make a scene. Do you think things would have come to this point?”

Adrian was silent for a long moment before he asked, “Caroline, who gave Emma those photos? The only people who could’ve managed to take them, apart from Mom’s, would be yours.”

“It wasn’t me. I don’t have the leisure to meddle in your affairs,” Caroline denied. “Mr. Gordon was the one who took them and gave them to Mom. Mom was furious. She didn’t even eat dinner last night, before calling for Emma and handing the photos to her to handle.

“And how do you think Mr. Gordon managed to get so many photos? Wasn’t it because you two were so arrogant and went overboard by not drawing the curtains and closing the doors to let others see and take photos of you on purpose?”

Adrian was about to defend himself when he suddenly remembered that every time he slept with Celine, she insisted on keeping the windows and curtains open. She had deliberately done it!

“Adrian, Celine was trying to get back at Mom—at you guys! That’s why she did that on purpose. She knew Mom had the means to find out about your shenanigans almost immediately and used this to hurt Mom and make her angry.

“She used to be Mom’s most beloved daughter, while you are Mom’s oldest son. Although the position of the head of the family has always been for daughters, as Mom’s first child, you hold a special place in her heart.

“Your affair with Celine was a huge blow to Mom.”

Adrian paled.

“If I were you, Adrian, I would hurry and apologize to Mom and Emma and promise that you’ll never cheat again. You’re already in your thirties and your kids are quite big now. You might not care about your reputation, but you should care about your children’s.

“Emma’s the only one who could stand you. If it had been anyone else, they would’ve kicked you to the curb long ago. It’s better to leave a scumbag like you as soon as possible.”

Adrian was red with shame. After another long moment, he said despondently, “Emma’s asked me for a divorce—for real, this time. She was very calm when she brought it up.

“The agreement’s already drawn up too, and very fair at that. She’s taking everything that belongs to her, not a single bit more.

“She’s moving back to her parents’ home today.”

Caroline was silent for a moment before she said, “You made your bed, and now you have to lie in it. You destroyed your marriage.

“Since Emma wants a divorce, you should just sign it if you don’t want it to turn ugly. She’s making your wish come true—you’ll be single again and there’ll be no one to care or nag you to come home if you want to stay out all night.

“And you can enjoy yourself with all the beauties out there freely. No one will get mad at you for it. Isn’t that great, Adrian? If you still consider yourself a man, you should hurry up and get the paperwork done and filed.”
