Amelia hummed “I know what to do”

Amelia answered shortly as she could without much expression on her face

Alexander looked at her for a while, he wanted to ask her what the problem was and apologize for what he said earlier but he hardened his heart again

Alexander sat down with his father as they were having a serious discussion

“Son, how are you gonna tackle The Red Kings, I know you’re well aware of how dangerous Knight could be, “Lorraine Ron said as he looked at Alexander intently

Alexander sat with his back on the chair and legs crossed in an imposing manner

“I’m aware but you should also be aware that the Alphas are not to be toyed with,” Alexander said with a cold and fierce gaze

“That’s right son, anyways, how’s the girl??” Lorraine asked as he narrowed his eyes a little at Alexander

“She’s okay as you saw her earlier” Alexander simply said

“That’s not what I meant!” Lorraine said with a sigh “Aye, I mean…. how’s your relationship going with her, any progress on your feelings towards women!” Mr. Lorraine asked in concern for that was one of the reasons he chose Amelia of all girls, she was willful, strong, and could withstand his son without surrendering so easily

Alexander sighed before saying out loud “She’s a nice girl, she’s lovely”

Lorraine sighed deeply, and said “I may not have been around but I have my eyes on you”

Alexander immediately turned chill as he tightened his knuckles “We are fine” he gritted out

“I’ll get this straight, what happened with Hilary has nothing to do with Amelia, Amelia is different from…..”

Alexander’s frown immediately deepened at the mention of his past lover who had an affair with his best friend, Collin

He never wanted to hear the name, Hilary, in his house, since the day he caught them and found out that Hilary was pregnant for Collin, he had slowly developed hatred for the opposite sex

Alexander kept quiet as he sat there, seeing this, mr Ron immediately understood that he was suppressing his fury

Mr. Ron sighed and looked at Alexander “You can’t live this way, Alex”

“Let me mind that,” Alexander said coldly, totally not in the mood to discuss that

If it was someone else talking about Hilary and his love life, he would have probably cut off his or her tongue.

Just then, the door open, Amelia and Mrs Galena made their way into the living and saw the strange atmosphere

Alexander had a frown on while Lorraine just sat quietly

Galena could roughly guess what was happening

Amelia walked close to Alexander, she’d wanted to play along but it seemed this wasn’t the right time, so she sat docilely by his side

“Okay, we’ll get going now!” Galena said to break the ice, they had intended to stay for a while but not anymore as it wasn’t favorable

Lorraine got up and Galena went to call Maverick from the game room and they walked out

Amelia saw them off as they drove out of the compound, she made her way inside and saw Alexander sitting in that same spot

She sighed as she made her way upstairs, giving Alexander some time to think about whatever he was thinking of

She was already sick and tired of his attitude, they were always fighting and bickering

Alexander remained in the living room with a dark expression, he should at least cut Amelia some slack

She wasn’t Hilary, Amelia was different from Hilary

Alexander, Liam, and George were the only ones who celebrated the party, after the party, Alexander was a bit somber as he entered his car and told his driver to go to Hilary’s house

He had to go check up on his woman, he wasn’t comfortable with her saying that she was okay

When they got there, he made his way to her apartment twisted the doorknob, and went in

He frowned when he heard moaning and groaning sounds coming from her room but his expression became deadpanned when he saw Hilary and Collin entangled with each other

Hilary’s eyes immediately widened in shock as she saw Alex standing close to the door

From that day on, Alexander cut all ties with Hilary and Collin, he viewed women as trash and gold diggers and cheat

He had truly loved Hilary with his very being but she cheated on him

That was where his anger came from, his hatred for women
