They had to drive two cars with six people. Jarron wanted to chat more with Nova, so he asked Nova to sit in the same car with him and Rory. Rory was sitting in the front passenger seat while Nova and Jarron both sat in the back seat.

Though Jarron was calm and diplomatic, he couldn’t hide his joy and astonishment.

Rory turned to father and found father staring blankly and silently at Nova as if he was trying to absorb the shocking news. He smiled. “Dad, a surprise, isn’t it?”

He promised that he would surprise his father, and he lived up to his promise.

“A surprise. Indeed a surprise!” Jarron couldn’t help laughing. “That was really beyond my expectation. You actually invited Miss Nicola!”

He called Nova “girl” just now in an amicable manner, but he sounded apparently more respectful now. The Jackson Family Group attended the competition to see if Rory could really invite Nicola to race for them. Inviting Nicola wouldn’t be a difficulty. Rory also nodded smilingly. “Yes, dad. She is my… good friend. You don’t have to be so polite or Nicola would get stressed.”
