Henry directly ignored her words and huffed, rather aggressively, “Since you’ve got someone to get patronized, why do you come to me today? Let me have a guess, do you want to get the best of both
worlds?” Nova’s eyes narrowed at his words but soon she shrugged. It seems that he has already known the trending searches about her and Chester. The picture about them exploded on the screen, she shouldn’t wonder. She opened her mouth calmly, appearing either unaware or uncaring of Henry’s sarcastic remarks. “Now that Mr. King asks me here, I might as well take this opportunity and give you a brief introduction about my plan.” Henry wore a mocking smile and wrinkled his nose at her. “You have fifteen minutes to pitch me your project, or don’t blame me for my ruthlessness. Hope you can be on top of your game.”
Snorting with laughter, she took out her USB flash disk. “May I use your computer?”
After saying, she went forward and inserted the flash drive.
In order to work with the mouse better, she leaned forward and moved the cursor to open the target folder. Henry remained sullen and followed Nova’s every move with his gaze.
The case with the King Group was about wedding planning.
They were close to each other, unconsciously, her mouth was quite level with his ear as she bent over. Surprisingly, a wisp of hair straggled over her ear, which blew a faint scent of her to him.
