Chapter 631
"So, Steph, are we still going to Sullivan's for acting lessons tonight?"
"Definitely, why wouldn't we! Sullivan said the only free time he has is before bed. The rest of the time, he's all wrapped up in his roles, with no time to spare. Oh right, I'll go and ask him first if he's free, if he is, we'll head over." Emily, sprawled on the bed, chimed in: "Go for it. I'll accompany you. I want to see if this international movie star's acting chops really live up to the hype, or if my mom's acting is better." "Alright, we're all hitting the books tonight!"
Stephanie, all fired up, headed to Sullivan's room in the same hotel, but on a different floor.
She knocked on the door, but no one answered.
Patiently, she waited for a moment, then knocked a few more times. The door finally opened.
Sullivan had just finished taking a shower. He was in his pajamas, a towel in his hand, drying his hair.
Seeing Stephanie, he asked nonchalantly, "What's up?"
"Sullivan, are you free right now? If you are, I can bring Emily over."Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
Sullivan's gaze dimmed slightly as he nodded, "I'm free."
Stephanie grinned ear to ear, "Then I'll go get Emily and we'll be right over, hope we're not disturbing you tonight."
"No problem."
"Thanks a bunch."
Stephanie left all smiles. It didn't take long for her to return with Emily, each of them holding a notebook, knocking on the hotel room door.
Oddly enough, although Sullivan knew they were coming, he took time to open the door.
"Come on in."
As soon as Stephanie walked in, she noticed a fragrant smell. Curious, she asked, "Do you have a habit of incense?"
Sullivan gave her a quick glance, "Is that strange?"
"Not at all. Is this a calming incense, or an energizing one?"
"Energizing."
"Uh. Are you afraid we'll doze off?"
"Mmm, do you want to go straight into the scene, or discuss it first?"
"Let's talk about it first, then act it out. That way, I can adapt better."
Sullivan nodded, giving Stephanie a simple rundown of the scene they were going to perform the next day.
Then, they started acting it out.
Of course, Sullivan's acting was something else. Even Emily was captivated by his explanation of the scene.
By the time they started acting it out, Emily was watching intently, especially the action scenes, she could tell Sullivan was nailing them. Every one of his moves looked like he was using his full strength, but when he hit someone, it didn't hurt at all.
Suddenly, Stephanie threw a punch with all her might, forgetting she was wearing hotel slippers. She slipped, sending Sullivan tumbling onto the bed.
Luckily, she reacted quickly and propped herself up on Sullivan's chest, avoiding any awkward physical contact. "Sorry. I slipped!"
"No problem."
Stephanie quickly got up, her face slightly red, "I'm glad you're not mad. But was that punch okay?"
"The robot's speed should be a bit faster, but it's not a big problem. Post-production might speed it up."
"If they speed it up, the whole fight scene might not look natural. I'd rather practice more and increase my punching speed." Sullivan nodded, "Anything else you don't understand?"
"Yes. There's a scene later where the
robot starts to understand human emotions, there's a plot twist.
Sullivan, you've played similar roles before your advice would be much more helpful than me fumbling around trying to understand the character's psychological changes."
