Start With An Unexpected Affair

Four years and six months later…

Yasmin try to grab her phone and hold unto the stubborn child trying to escape from her

She manage to grab the phone and hold it between her left ear and shoulder then grasp him with her two hands

“Hi Mom” she said into the phone

“We’re good, Sean is as stubborn as ever” she said still struggling with him and watch him laugh in mockery of her

“Come back to the states?” She asked her expression changed

In the little daze moment, he manage to escape from her grasp and try running out but Talia walk in

“Grab him!” She yelled to her

Talia who did not quickly catch on try to get the young boy but he outsmarted her and run to the door

Yasmin drop the phone and run after him to get him back inside the house.

She and Talia struggle for a while but finally caught him and bring him back

“What did he do this time?” Talia asked catching her breathe

“Another report from her teacher for misbehaving”

“He told the poor lady to go back to pre-school to learn from the scratch before dreaming of teaching him” Yasmin explain

“What? Did you really say that Sean?”

“The old lady could not get figures right, I just gave a piece of my useful advice”

“That is so rude of you Sean” Yasmin told him but he shrugged

“Do you think we made a mistake letting him skip a class?” Talia asked thoughtfully

“He keep going to the class claiming his own class is too lame and low for him” Yasmin reply frustrated.

“For sure he’s Kyler Black’s son”

Yasmin sighs and fall to the sofa, she does not even have the strength to punish him

“You are grounded again for another week” she told him and he jump on the sofa beside her with a grin giving her a peck

“Why did you do that?”

“To apologize and maybe make you ungrounded me”

“I have an outing with Mary on Thursday and Emma is having a party on Friday”

“Mary? You already broke up with Samantha?” Talia asked flabbergast

“She couldn’t do her homework herself and try making me do it for her, I refuse so we broke up” he explain

“Whooah yet your aunt could not get a single man for herself.

Talia said with a sad face and they all burst into a laugh.

After getting Sean to eat and sending him to his room to play with his toys, Yasmin sit down to talk with Talia

“They want you to come back?” She asked and Yasmin nod

“Well do you want to?” She ask again

“I don’t know” she said sincerely

“If it’s about him, I think it’s time you see him again, for Sean’s sake at least”

“What if he hates me now and don’t want to see me?”

“You know that’s not true and to be sincere, he’s been searching for you” she reveal

“What?”

“He called me around the time you just gave birth to Sean and ask if I know where you are”

“He did?” Yasmin asked surprise

“I guess he find out you are not in the states anymore and try finding out where you are”

“Maybe I could go back then, let me ask Sean”

“Yeah, I’m quite surprise he never asked for his Dad all these years”

Kyler sits in his office and swivel the chair to the left and right going through his phone

Alex knock and come in looking really serious and clear his throat to get his attention

“Have you find out where she is?” Kyler asked and stop swiveling

“Not yet but I have another news”

“What is more important than finding Yasmin?”

“Thompson Bays breaking out of jail?”

“Huh?”

“I receive the information just now and he broke out few hours ago, the cops are searching for him”

“Okay” Kyler replied

“Aren’t you worried?”

“About what?”

“You put him in prison and now he’s escaped, what if he want to avenge on you?”

“Then you’ll protect me”

“Why would I choose to die for you?”

“Because I’m your Boss”

“Who has been doing for the oast five years rather than lazy about pretending to be heartbroken”

“Hey, I am really heartbroken and it’s four years six months two weeks fifteen hours six seconds”

Alex’s mouth parted in agape at the calculation and give a loud resignedly sigh

“I will have people search for him just to be safe” he told him and walk away.

Yasmin and Talia open their eyes to the darkness surrounding them and feel horrified realizing they’ve been kidnapped

“Yasmin?”

“What’s going on?”

“It’s him, Thompson Bays I heard his voice before we pass out” she whisper

“What? I thought he’s in jail”

“I’m not sure Talia but where is Sean?”

“I can’t see anything”

“Neither can I” she reply and they both panicked then start to yell for help.

Thompson put the little kid on the small wooden chair and take a long puff of the cigarette in between his fingers

“So who are you?” Little Sean asked

“The one your Dad ruined” he replied glaring at him

“Okay” he respond nodding his head

“So why did you bring me here? To punish my Dad or Mom?” He ask another question again

“Kyler Black take your mum away from me when she is mine, now I am going to take her back and send your body to him as a payback” he told him and expect a scared reaction but got a surprise when he cross his hands instead

“I haven’t even seen this Dad before, but I’ve seen you”

“If it wasn’t for that man you would have been married to Mum and be my Dad instead” he resort

“Really?”

“I’m ready to accept you as my Dad if you promise to keep Mom happy and make her forget about Dad will make her sad all the time”

Thompson stare with his mouth agape surprise to hear the little boy talk like that

He thought he would be scared and beg with pee dripping down his pants not to be hurt.

“Do we have a deal then?” He asked taking his pinky finger for a promise and Thompson chuckle before crossing his fingers.

He stand up and ask the two men to leave him and follow him to the ladies instead seeing he pose no threat.

When Sean was sure they had leave, he got down from the seat and walk slowly with his body trembling

Since he did not get knocked out unconscious when they were kidnapped, he still remember the way out

He make a run for it when he was sure it’s safe and escape outside.

Just like he learned, he find a not creep and harmless looking person after a long while and ask for help.

Kyler pick up his jacket as soon as the call drops and rush out of the door.

He rush past Alex who is about to come in and he immediately go after him

“Hello Dad, it’s Sean your son” a tiny child voice said

“Mum is in trouble and need help”

Alex get to the driver seat before he could abd make him hand over the car key

“What going on?” He asked as he start to drive

“My son called me, he’s in trouble”

“What?”

“Yasmin is in trouble”

“And your son told you?” He asked to be sure and Kyler nod his head

Alex decide not to ask anymore and drive to the police station where he got the call

The police has called him few minutes ago and asked if he know any Yasmin Cassidy then a child’s voice got the call after.

It seems like they were coming back to the country and got taken by Thompson Bays.

“The men I asked to find him call to inform me they have a lead, I will check to know if they have gotten him” Alex said trying to get there on time.

The door open and a little light enter into the room, the light was switch on and both of them close their eyes for a second

Yasmin look up and confirm her fear seeing Thompson, she turn pale with fear not knowing what he plan to do with her now

“Long time Yasmin, you are back to me now” he said getting closer and bent in front of her

“Where is my son?” She asked worried and angry

“He’s a smart kid, rather than get killed he choose to become my son instead” he answered with a grin and Yasmin look more worried

“Boss, what should we do about the second lady?”

“Whatever you want” he answered sternly

They immediately grab Talia up who try to scream and free herself as the two hefty men take her out

Yasmin try to stand up and yell at him to stop them

One of the men rush back in a panicky state and inform them the child has escaped

Thompson turn furious and glare at Yasmin who looks so worried abd anxious about young Sean

He hasn’t been to the states before, though he’s a smart kid Yasmin could not help feel great anxiety and fear.

“Search for him” he yelled and rush out too.

Kyler sight the young boy from the doorway and know at once it’s his son, he run to take him into his arms and give a tight and warm hug

“Are you okay little Buddy?” He asked

“Mum is not, I could not protect her” he cried and he hug him more to comfort him

“She will be fine, I will find her soon” he told him.

And true to his words, Thompson Bays got arrested with his accomplices soon after and are brought to the hospital with Yasmin and Talia.

Kyler pull her into a demandingly long and tight embrace feeling relief to see she’s not hurt

Yasmin hug him back really happy to see him and bury her crying face on his shoulder

When they disengage she go to hug Sean ND carry him into his arms.

Kyler see the cops taking Thompson Bays in and rush at him before they could take him into the cell

He send him heavily to the floor and throw him hard punches in rage

The cops immediately try to stop him and Yasmin also panicked.

“Can you please stop him?” She turn to Alex who is standing by watching

“He deserves it, that’s for kidnapping me and my Mama” Sean reply

“Go Daddy!” He yelled enjoying the beating

“How did you know he’s your Dad?” Talia and Yasmin asked surprised

“You always say his name and talk about how much I am just like him”

They both nod their head agreeing to their mistakes, they didn’t think he would figure that out.

The cops manage to save Thompson from Kyler and push him into the cell to avoid him getting hit again.

Kyler turn to Yasmin again breathing heavily and kiss her ignoring the fact that she’s holding little Sean.

Alex immediately take him from Yasmin’s hand and try to cover his face

“I’ve done it with Mary” he told them

“What!” Yasmin break the kiss turning to him and he laugh out then try to run away.

Yasmin try to get him to scold him but he run back to Kyler and got carried up then get a kiss on the cheek

“Good boy” he said with a chuckle and he smile back.
