Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 23

Happy reading….

“Where are you going?” asked Elena getting out of bed while blinking a few times.

“I have to go home,” said Jayden, who was busy putting on his clothes.

“Going home? What’s wrong with you having to come home so late? Did Hera do anything else?” There was a hint of annoyance implied from Elena’s question.

Jayden let out a quick breath then turned to look at Elena after putting on his brown jacket. He walked towards the woman. Sitting on the edge of the bed then turned Elena’s face to look at him.

“It’s not about Hera, it’s about Juan. He’s sick,” Jayden said softly.

“Are you sure that your son is really sick? Wasn’t it just Hera’s trick?” asked Elena still not convinced. “Hera could have said that if Juan was sick, you should go back there,” she continued.

“That’s not possible.”

“What makes you so sure?”

“Because Hera hates me as much as I hate her. So I’m sure Juan is really sick,” Jayden said. The man then brought Elena’s hands to grip tightly. “I’ll go straight home if nothing happens. I’m leaving!” Jayden continued kissing Elena’s forehead, grabbed the phone and car keys and then walked away from there. Regardless of Elena’s disapproving gaze.

On the way Jayden kept in touch with Hera but the call went unanswered.

“Hopefully Juan is okay,” Jayden hoped even more worried.

Maybe because it was past midnight, the vehicle was not too crowded so Jayden could freely drive his vehicle at a fairly high speed. It only took a few minutes and Jayden was there.

“Hera! Hera! Open the door, Hera!” Jayden shouted because he had forgotten to bring the spare key to the house.

After waiting for a while, Hera appeared in a very chaotic state. Puffy eyes and red cheeks are signs that she’s been crying too much.

“Where’s Juan?” Jayden asked.

“He’s in the room,” Hera replied.

Jayden immediately ran away leaving Hera to immediately meet the baby. When he got there, it turned out that Juan had been treated by Xavier’s family doctor.

“How is my son, Doctor Emi?” Jayden asked the forty year old doctor.

“He’s feeling better after I gave him the fever-reducing medicine,” said Doctor Emi making Jayden and Hera breathe a sigh of relief.

“What exactly happened to Juan, Doctor?” asked Hera.

“I can’t say for sure why he has a fairly high fever, but if you have time, come tomorrow to the hospital so Juan can be examined further,” said Doctor Emi, giving advice.

“Okay, Doc. I’ll take Juan to the hospital tomorrow,” Jayden nodded.

“Okay, then … Mr. Jayden and Mrs. Hera, I’ll say goodbye first,” said Doctor Emi with a friendly smile.

“Let me take you, Doc,” said Hera, to which Emi’s doctor nodded.

“Thank you very much, Doc. Already coming,” said Hera after they were already on the terrace.

“You’re welcome, Mrs. Hera. I totally understand your feelings. Please don’t panic too much because it could also affect Juan,” Doctor Emi suggested while stroking the woman’s shoulder.

Hera smirked. “Okay, Doc,” she said nodding slowly.

It didn’t take long for the taxi ordered by Hera to arrive. And after the car was gone, Hera went back into the house. The steps slowed down a bit as she went up to the second floor.

“Jayden would be really mad at me,” Hera muttered. Before calling Jayden earlier, Hera had fought with herself. She was really too lazy to contact Jayden who hadn’t been home for almost three days. Moreover, Hera knew that her husband must be with the woman he loved the most. Either lazy or jealous Hera could barely tell the difference.

But instead of hearing the anger of the husband. The sight inside made Hera’s heart warm.

Jayden was lying beside Juan caressing the baby’s tiny body affectionately. Hera also heard Jayden hum a little there. Juan seemed also exhausted from crying as he fell asleep.

Hera’s tears just fell. He rubbed it roughly then left from there. Looks like Jayden needs more time with Juan. And Hera is sure that the child will also miss his father very much.

Hera sat down on the sofa. The tears that had been held back for so long finally spilled there. Hera was really confused now.

On the other hand, Hera wants to maintain and repair her marriage with Jayden so that Juan doesn’t have to lose one of them even though it means Hera has to endure the pain. But considering that Jayden never expected it and even hated it so much, it seemed that Hera couldn’t possibly survive.

“What should I do?” Hera whispered to no one.

“You look very happy, Mr. Haidar,” said Ridwan after taking the file that Haidar had signed.

“Does it look very clear?” Haidar actually asked there.

“Very,” answered Ridwan briefly inviting a small laugh between the two.

“Will we have some good news any time soon?” The question that came out of Ridwan’s mouth sounded like a temptation that made Haidar blush and feel embarrassed. But the man was still able to control his feelings by reading some files on his computer.

“Just pray. I’m struggling here,” said Haidar with a shy smile.

“Of course, sir. I also can’t wait to see the face of the woman who has made Mr. Haidar this happy.”

Haidar stopped his activities and the image of Hera crossed his mind.

“She is a woman who is very brave, strong, innocent and also very charming. What she does always amazes me. Especially when she smiles, she is really beautiful,” said Haidar trying to describe Hera to Ridwan.

“Wow! Looks like she’s the ideal type of woman you’ve been looking for, sir?”Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Haidar smiled shyly again, nodding slowly. “Yes. I think so,” he answered.

“I’m curious too!” said someone walked into Haidar’s room without knocking on the door.

Netra Haidar and Ridwan center on the girl.

“Viona? What are you doing here?” asked Haidar.

Seeing the awkward atmosphere and sharp gaze from Viona made Ridwan immediately leave the place.

The figure in sexy clothes was sitting on the sofa ignoring Haidar’s intimidating gaze.

“So you really have a girlfriend, Haidar?” asked Viona smiling lopsidedly looking back at Haidar.

“Didn’t I tell you?” Haidar replied back to focus on his work.

Viona snorted softly. What was thought to be a joke turned out to be true. Viona doesn’t seem to know Haidar. The man rarely played with his words. Then why now does Viona not believe in Haidar.

The woman gave a small nod and then said, “Then. I must immediately meet her who has been presumptuous of stealing you from me.”
