Chapter 97 The Husband and Wife

“Sir, you’re kidding right? She... she is just a common girl disabled.” Alice asked unbelievably.

Actually, all people present didn’t believe his words.

“There is no way that a company would find this sort of woman to do commercials!” A random bystander roasted.

Rita and Liam were offended by his words.

Then a random girl also chimed in, “Right! Is their boss dumb?”

Liam the clenched his fist.

Rita really didn’t expect that they dared to say these words.

She glanced at the furious man standing next to him and wished that he wouldn’t be too cruel to these students later.

Alice didn’t at all notice Liam’s reaction and even got cocky because of people’s support.

“I guess so. No smart boss would make this sort of decision. Otherwise...” Alice then cast Rita an ironic glance and sneered, “Otherwise the boss was up to something else.”

Of course he was up to Rita’s face and body!

“What happened to this world. How come one girl can sell her body for money?”

People all started discussing with each other wildly.

Seeing that people were all swayed by Alice’s words again, Rita frowned.

Before she can even think of something, the man standing next to her suddenly slapped Alice in the face.

All people including Rita were taken aback by Liam’s action.

Being slapped hard in the face, Alice was in huge pain and glared at Liam, “What are you doing!”

“I’m doing this for you!” Glancing at the indifferent Liam, Lily tried to drag Alice away.

“Alice!” Lily frowned.

“If you don’t want to help me, you can just go.” Pushing Lily aside, Alice turned around and glared at Rita, “I really don’t know what you got to seduce all these men!” Then she said to Liam, “You’d better apologize to me right away! I won’t let you get away from this easily!”

Facing Alice’s threat, Rita shrugged and laughed, “Apology? You don’t really deserve it.”

She really thought Lima’s slap before was a great move.

She would probably do it herself if he didn’t slap first.

She was not afraid of rumors but she definitely wouldn’t let anyone mar her.

Then because of students’ gathering, some school officials even got attracted.

“What is happening here! Why aren’t you attending classes!” The Mr. Booth of the Dean’s Office scolded and some of the students immediately cleared a path for him.

Seeing that the director was here, Alice immediately got excited.

Covering her bruised cheek, she went to him in tears, “Director, I was slapped for no reason! You got to help me!”

“Who did this to you and just ignored school’s disciplines?” Seeing Alice’s red face, the director was furious.

Pointing at Rita’s direction, Alice cried, “It was her. She asked someone to slap me!”

“Rita? What was going on!” Mr. Booth walked towards Rita unhappily. “Don’t you think that you can bully other students just because you won the first prize in the design contest!”

Seeing that the director was yelling at Rita, Alice thought she got the support and looked at Rota proudly.

“Well...”

“I slapped her.” Ria was directly cut half-sentenced by Liam.

He wouldn’t allow anyone to scold her. Otherwise, he would be pissed off.

So at this point, he was glaring at the director.

“Liam?” Looking at Liam, the director was in shock.

As the school director, of course he can remember Liam who graduated from this school as elite.

His graduation design was still presenting in the school’s exhibition room.

“It has been a long time, Mr. Booth.” Liam nodded politely but looked cold.

Then he asked, “But why? Did she say something wrong to piss you off?”

“No. It was that she smeared my wife’s reputation!” Liam answered coldly.

Hearing his words, Rita was in shock and immediately looked at him.

Other people present were equally taken aback.

Looking at Rita, Alice stuttered, “You... you are...”

“Her husband, the dumb boss you just commented.” Reaching out his hand, Liam hugged Liam and spoke.

Then people who just roasted him before all gasped.
