Dad gets to his feet, “Thank you Star, I have decided to close the school for the next few weeks. until the threat is eliminated and it is safe to return, I have spoken with our teachers, and we are going to go to remote teaching, the entire world, dealt with it during the pandemic, so we should be ok for a few weeks. Anyone who misses anything will be given help to catch up, but as always, the safety of our people comes first.”

There are lots of nods around the table and I see Oliver and Aiden high-five d***s.

“Now I will pass to Alpha Leon. He can tell us the plan for the invasion of the Scotts.”

“Thanks Alpha, firstly, I am a retired Alpha and we are all friends here, so it’s just Liam now. We are expecting approximately 30 warriors, this will mean that your pack will not be theft with diminished numbers, when we decide what course of action we are going to take, most of them are our age, I would prefer the term experienced rather than old please,” he looks at Aiden, who smirks.

“They were all brought up in the highlands, a beautiful but harsh place, so they know how to survive, also quite a few of them call Campbell the runt of our litter.”

Cam is f*****g massive, and I see a couple of my friends gulp.

“My brother Angus and my ma and pa will also be coming. I couldn’t keep the old ones away from Astéri any longer. They are flying in to Exeter airport on Thursday afternoon, Beta Kurtis. if you could arrange transport. I have the flight details for you.”

“Of course Alp…Liam.”

“Thats it from me then, Alpha.”

“Ace, your turn.”

I stand and place my hand on Tink’s shoulder, “As our mate stated earlier, the time for hiding is over. They know our routine and we have been predictable. They expected the rogue talk, maybe even planned it, to leak information to split us up.”

I look at Liam, who nods.

“Something Mary-Beth said struck a cord, Liam and the letter Thalia left for Star. said that a barrier went up, and it sounds like the only one that can bring down that barrier is Star and Saffron, they are the silver wolf.”

“with, I hope, the help of our friendly witches, we are going to Greece, back to where it all started. We would be grateful if you could portal us to the airport. Liam, my brothers and Star, and most of the warriors will be in Paxos at Liam’s allied pack.”

“While they are waiting for the rest of us, they can figure out how to get into the pack and see if they can find anything to help in the fight.”

“Then we will let it slip to the rogue that we are going to hide Star in Paxos, then plan a fire and allow him to escape. Jonah and Olly are sneaky little shits, so they will plan that.”

“finally, me, Jonah, Olly, a witch and a few warriors will head to the airport and fly to Greece.” I look at Mary-Beth, “I am hoping you could use a glamour and make a copy of Star, so it looks like she stayed with me.”

She nods her head, “that’s a good plan, but could I make a small tweak? All of you go to Paxos. We will send some of our brethren with you, then myself and Anne-Marie will glamour into the two of you and go for a ride with some warriors, after the rogue has escaped.”

I love having new friends. We have not had a lot to do with witches. There is no bad b***d, we just never crossed paths. That is going to change.

“Perfect, thank you. We define owe you a debt. Well, that all from me, Dad. it’s all yours.”

Dad looks at mum, raising his eyebrow at her, she smiles and nods. He gets to his feet and pulls her up with him.

“The last piece of news for today. The next full moon is on Friday night, The Luna and I will be standing down and passing the torch to our sons and their mate. We were going to wait, but as you have all decided to not go to university, then we see no reason to wait.”

The four of us are stunned. He always said he would wait till we were 21. I look at him, questioning him with my eyes.

He chuckles, “don’t look at me like that Ace, I’m not f*****g dying, we are very proud of the four of you, and we know you are ready, we will hold the fort, like proud grandparents while you are away, dreaming of the day you make us actual grandparents, no rush but we are not getting any younger.”

Mum pushes him into his seat, and looks at Tink. “So we are going to be busy, my girls, furnishing houses, planning a trip welcoming guests and planning an Alpha AND Luna ceremony. Are you ready Luna?”

I glance at my brothers and they both grin back at me. Mum needs to add planning a wedding to that list because there is no way we are going anywhere without making our girl our wife.
