The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage)

Chapter 69.

Savage POV.

It has now been nearly two weeks since Teagan was shot by Gianni. She is now home and is getting back to how she was before this happened. Angel is nearly ten weeks pregnant and the morning sickness has well and truly taken hold of her.

Every morning without fail, I chase after her into the bathroom to hold her hair back, as she is sick. I plan on missing nothing with this pregnancy. Especially when I wasn't there for her with Rebel and the loss of our unborn. So I have been watching her like a hawk.

I think Antonio's overprotectiveness is rubbing off on me. Every time she moves, I'm there looming over her. Nate and Nico have called me pussy whipped and I would have lost my shit if it was about anyone other than Angel, but they are right. I would happily be pussy whipped for the rest of my life, especially when it comes to her.

My dad, Blaze, Ice and Ripper have arrived to help with the situation with Gianni. I was pissed when they arrived. Blaze or my dad should have stayed back to watch over the club. But dad said the club is being watched by our most feared member. My mom. So I know the club is in very capable hands. Even if my mom is a little psychopath.

So here I am sitting reading through this pregnancy diary stuff. Angel is napping with Rebel, so I thought I would do some homework. I want to know the ins and out of everything we have to expect so I can be prepared for anything. I am documenting everything in a memory box for when this baby is eighteen. Kind of like the one Rebel has, and we add to it all the time.

Both our kids and anymore we may have will all share these memories. I can't wait to see our little bean again and see how much it has changed.

"So, are you freaking out yet?" I look up from what I'm reading and look at my dad as he walks towards me with two mugs of coffee. I take mine and he sits across from me and takes the book.

"No, I don't plan on missing anything. I missed too much with Rebel. Time I won't get back. But I'm here now and that is what matters." I say as I take a sip of my coffee.

"It will be fine, Ryder. Angel knows her body and what to expect. I know she hasn't been sleeping properly. So you going to tell me what's going on?" nothing gets past him. He is observant and is like a dog with a bone when he gets a whiff of something.

"She has been having nightmares about Foxy. She thinks she is alive and will kill her. But in the book it says nightmares are common in expectant mother's something to do with the hormones and anxiety of being pregnant. Did mom ever have nightmares when she was expecting me?" I ask, because these nightmares are always the same. I think Angel is manifesting them out of fear because of the crash. But also because she killed Foxy, even though we didn't know Foxy was pregnant at the time.

"Yeah, she did. There was a woman many years ago. She was a club whore. She terrorised your mom made her life hell. When your mom was pregnant with you. I was drugged, and she walked in and found me with this club whore. Your mom knew something was wrong, so while the bitch was riding me. She shot her. She had nightmares every night until just before you were born. I took her to counselling, and it was the betrayal that set it off. I think you and Angel should do the same thing." He says and I just look at him in shock. I never knew this.

So now I understand why my mom would look at the club girls with such distrust and disgust. She thought history would repeat, but it didn't for my dad, but it did for me.

"Yeah, I think you're right. How long did it take for mom to trust you again?" I ask, and he looks at me with a sigh.

"The trust wasn't broken. I hate to admit it, but that woman took advantage of me. The betrayal side of it came because at one point your mom was friends with her before she became a club whore. She raped me. If your mom hadn't had killed her, I would have. Back then, it was unheard of for a man to be raped, let alone a man to come forward being the victim. So it stayed with me and your mom and now you. But enough of the past bullshit. I'm over it." He says shrugging, how can I forget what he has just told me?

"Dad, I don't know what to say."

"Then don't say anything. It's in the past and that is where it stays. So what will happen to Gianni?" I nod my head, knowing he won't talk anymore about it, so it's best to let it be.

"Antonio will execute him tonight. Angel is to be nowhere near this. Antonio's orders. He doesn't want her more stressed than she has been in recent months. Alessa will be present, as well as Matteo and Cassandria." I tell him and he nods his head. It has been weird being round the mafia king and queen.

They both love each other very much and you can see that with the way they look at each other. Cassandria's brother, Andros Bristol-Romano, arrived this morning. He and Cassandria are so alike in terms of looks. It is crazy to think that they aren't twins. Andros is seven years older.

"They are nice people when you aren't on the wrong side of them." My dad says and he shivers. I have heard the whispers from some of the Moretti men about Cassandria especially. She is a deadly force, more so than Alessa. So that is saying something else.

"Yeah, so I've heard. You would think we should be used to being surrounded by the mafia by now." I say with a chuckle and he smiles at me, nodding his head in agreement.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

"True, but it never does. The MCs are

seen as bad people, criminals and it's the same for the mafia. But being in their presence is something else Gives me the chills." He says with a shiver and I chuckle. I know what he means. All these people are in a league of their own. The most dangerous people in the World in this one mansion.

"Daddy, pop-pop. I'm awake." I look up and see Rebel walking towards us, rubbing her eyes and her long blonde hair sticking up in every direction. Her little pyjama pants rolled up and twisted. Her top wrinkled and in her free hand is her unicorn plushy. Of course Boomer is walking beside her.

"Oh little princess, come here,

sweetie." I say as she walks to me. I lift her and place her on my lap, and she rest her head on my chest.

love this little girl so much. The het

moment I first laid my eyes on her, I knew my world would change

forever, and it has done, for the best, of course.

"You thirsty, hungry?" I ask her gently and he nods her sleepy head as my dad stands and moves to get her a drink and a snack.

"Pop-pop, can I see nanna?" she mumbles and my dad looks at her with so much love in his eyes.

"Yes baby, you can. Now take a drink and eat your snack and we will face time nanna, ok?" he is so gentle with her, like she is fine china. But Rebel is anything but. She is like a tornado, wrapped inside of a volcano. She is the perfect combination of me and Angel. “Dad, can you take her a moment? I need to check on Angel." I say as I hand her to my dad, who places her on his lap as she takes a gulp of her drink. I walked up the stairs and up to our bedroom.

I open the door quietly and step inside, but the bed is empty. The sheets and quilt rumpled. I walk to the bathroom and it's empty. I walk to the walk-in and that's empty, too. Where is she?

I leave the room and walk back downstairs, searching for her.

"Has anyone seen Angel?" I ask and they all look at me. Antonio stands and moves to me.

"What do you mean? She was taking a nap with Rebel and Boomer." My heart is pounding. Where is she?

"No, she isn't in the room. Where is she?" I say I pull out my phone and dial her number, but I hear it ringing in the family room. But she isn't there.

"Search the grounds. I want her found and bought back to me safe and sound." The front door open and Teagan walks in, with Alessa, Cassandria, Matteo, the Mountains, and Andros. "There is no need. I know where she is." Teagan looks at me, but there is something in her gaze. I can't describe it. It's like regret, sadness, and a cross of pride and happiness. What the fuck? "Where is she?"

"The Moretti family chapel." I take off to the end of the mass gardens, to the chapel at the bottom.

I take a breath and enter the small place of worship. There on her knees praying in front of the stained glass window with candles lit on the altar is Angel. "Please God, watch over my family, forgive me for my sins and for what I have done and welcome uncle Gianni home." I freeze. She is praying for him? Why? When it hits me, the smell of blood. What has she done?
