Chapter 25
RIALYN
“Roel,” I was worried especially when I noticed that we were near the cliff.
“Ma’am Ria, do you know how to use a gun?”
“W-What? N-No!”
“FVCK!”
I screamed as we almost collided with a ten wheeler truck.
“Ma’am Ria, can you jump?”
“What? W-Why?” Roel’s forehear furrowed while looking at the road. I’m praying silently that someone will save us.
“After we pass that one truck, you jump with your son,”
“Is there any hope for us to survive if we do that, Roel?” I asked, crying. I couldn’t help but tear up in fear.Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
“Yes ma’am,” he answered while looking at me in the mirror.
“After you jump, run and hide so they won’t see you.”
For the last time I hugged my son. I’ll do anything, for us to live.
“Alright, Roel. How about you?” I asked him worriedly. We have been running for some time and I know he is very tired.
“Don’t worry about me, ma’am Ria. The important thing is that you and your son survive,” he said while smiling.
I do not know what to say. Roel is a very good person and he will do everything just to save us.
“Ma’am Ria,” I looked at him again.
“May I know your last name?” he asked.
“Why?”
“I remembered my old boss I used to serve. I see him on you and it’s fun to think about, cause he looks exactly like you.”
“Loverio. Rialyn Loverio is my complete name,” when I said that, I noticed his reactuon. I could see the shock on his face when I told him my full name.
“Roel, why?”
Roel just laughed softly. Laughter tinged with sadness. His eyes were full of sadness.
“I’m happy that I met you, ma’am Ria,” he said.
“What? What do you mean?” It’s funny to think that we’re talking normally now while we’re in verge of death.
“I didn’t expect that the little girl I was holding back then is a good and beautiful mother now,”
I don’t get him.
“We’ve been looking for you for a long time, Miss Ria,” he said.
I’m confused.
“What do you mean?”
“And no wonder, why I see Don Albert in you,” he laughed again.
Albert? Who is Don Albert?
“Ma’am Ria, open the door and when I say jump, jump out.”
I shut my mouth after Roel said that. I have many questions to ask but we were in the situation where I should prioritize my son.
I don’t know where we are right now. It seems like we are in the province.
We were on top of a small mountain. If we jump, my son and I will definitely roll in the mud in the paddy field. I have no choice, I’ll jump. We will live!
I bravely opened the door and when we passed through a big truck, Roel immediately shouted
“JUMP NOW!”
I hugged Hivo tightly. My right hand supported his head as we rolled in the mud. I am protecting his head if ever there’s a rock in the fiesld.
My son was awake and I know that he felt the pain from things that hit our body.
“Please don’t cry, son. Bear the pain,” I whispered to him when we stopped at the middle of the rice field.
“Yes, mom,” he said and snuggled closer to my chest. We were covered by the mud and camouflage through it so that they wouldn’t notice us. Thanks to the plants, we can hide.
When I looked up, there were cars passing by one after the other.
I’m just praying that Roel would be safe. Because of him, my son and I are safe now.

THIRD POINT OF VIEW
Meanwhile, when Ria and Hivo jumped, Roel immediately closed the door and when he successfully closed it, he started driving the car.
He immediately took out cell phone and called the person close to him.
“John,” he called his friend whom Sir Albert used to trust.
“I found the heir,” he said and cursed as he almost ran into a truck.
“What? Where? When?” The person on the other line asked.
“Just now!”
“Wait, where are you Roel?” His friend asked him while frowning.
“I don’t have time, John. Death is chasing me now.” Roel laughed.
“Don’t say that, bastard. What’s going on? Where are you?”
“Track this number John and find sir Albert’s daughter around this area. She’s with her son now,” Roel was already sweating in his current state.
But he was happy because somehow he met the daughter of the person he owed his life to. The person who first trusted him. And the person who helped him was Ria’s real father, Albert Loverio.
“Done. Wait, where are you now? Shit! Why are you running so fast? Look. Don’t die! Promise me that you won’t die. Wait for us.” Roel smiled bitterly because he also wanted to see his friends but it’s too late.
“Hey Roel, try to die and I’ll kill you.” He heard another voice on the other side. One of his friends.
“It’s a miracle that you’re with John, Felix.” He chuckled.
“Roel, you owe me a drink so promise me that you won’t die.” Roel shook his head and end the call. He already knew that it was the end of him now.
He has to sacrifice. If the car doesn’t get into an accident, he knew that those people chasing them will still searching for Ria, but when the car explodes, they will think that their plan is over. That they successfully killed Rialyn together with her son.
Roel knew that those cars chasing him now think that Ria and Hivo are still with him inside the car.
“Sir Albert, it looks like I’ll follow you there in paradise.” Roel said jokingly before deliberately crashing the car into a big tree. Due to the force of the impact, his head hit the steering wheel causing him to lose consciousness. Due to this, the steering wheel was accidentally moved by him which caused the car to move and fell into the ravine which caused a loud explosion.
The red dot that was monitored by Steven and John of Roel’s location suddenly disappeared..
“What happened to Roel?” Felix asked.
“Sh*t” Felix cursed seeing the reaction on John’s face while on the other hand, Steven suddenly burst into tears when he saw the disappearance of the small red dot on the monitor.
They have already knew the meaning of that. The car explodes as well as the people inside it.
“No babe. You’re still alive. You and our son are alive,” Steven whispered into the void as he traced the path where Roel was last spotted before he disappeared from the monitor.
The man saw t the cap that his son was wearing. He became even more nervous for some inexplicable reason.
His phone was ringing for a while, which he was not paying attention to.
He doesn’t care about the surroundings. He just wanted to see his son and Ria.
Hannah and her parents are also worried about Steven’s condition. Hannah was already crying while their mother was pale as she waited for the news.
Violet Alvante, Steven’s mother was guilty for what she did earlier. If she didn’t acted that way, Ria wouldn’t like to go home.
Earlier, when Ria left, she asked her daughter about Hivo.
“I told you mom that Ria’s son is my brother’s kid. They met in Canada 6 years ago, and I know that because I was there.” Hannah was so frustrated when she said that to her mother.
“6 years ago? Your brother was in a relationship with Amanda at that time,” Violet said.
“No mom. Amanda went to Canada 6 years ago that’s why we followed her. Then we found out that she was with another man; she was cheating. I don’t know if it was destiny works but Steven and Ria met in Canada and Hivo was made there. So you need to accept that you already have a grandson.”
“Why didn’t you tell me right away?” Violet asked her son.
“I told you already, mom. You just didn’t believe me. You believed Amanda more even when I said I wasn’t the father of her child. We haven’t been in contact for years. I was surprised that she came home and said that I am the father of her child.”
“So Amanda lied to me? She said that Ria was after for your money. She even told me that you’re not the father of Ria’s son.”
“Of course she will defame Ria because she wants to get your sympathy. That b*tch!” Hannah said angrily.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know,” Violet apologied. “Oh my God! What did I do?”
“Oh you saw how smart and wise the boy is. What can you say mom?” Hannah asked her.
“He looks like your brother. I wanna meet him. I want to meet him and his mother. I want to apologize.”
Then, she turned to Steven.
“Why Amanda needed to lie? And why did you let her poisoned my mind? I mean, you can easily get the evidence to prove to me that she’s lying.”
“I still respect her mom. After all, she used to be my best friend.” Steven said.
That was the scene before the accident happened.
“What did I do, hon? I think it’s my fault.” Violet said to her husband.
“Honey, calm down,” Ignacio said to his wife.
“If I didn’t reacted that way earlier, they shouldn’t have left,”
Hannah trembled with fear while holding her phone.
“Hannah, what happened?” Ignacio-Hannah’s father, asked.
“Dad. Mom. They’re gone,” she said while tears falling from her eyes.
