The Billionaire’s Maid Bride

Chapter 507

Chapter 507

“There was little known about Lucian outside of the financial world where he reigned supreme as the head of Lindberg Corporation. On financial news channels, his name was often mentioned in the same breath as legends, but Mr. Lindberg was an enigma. His only publicly available photograph was an official one for corporate affairs. It had swooning female admirers in droves. His Twitter was infrequently updated, yet he boasted a following of over two million.”

Allison admitted ignorance. “Really? Can I see the photo?”

Emma pulled out her phone and found the photo in question. “This was snapped by a leading finance magazine during Lindberg Corporation’s acquisition of Riverview Estates.”

Upon inspection, Allison saw Lucian in a tailored black suit. His hair was expertly styled, and he had silver-rimmed glasses sitting atop his aristocratic nose. He was shaking hands with the CEO of Riverview Estates. The CEO was in his mid-thirties, quite charismatic and sophisticated, but he paled in comparison to Lucian.

Lucian was a man of towering stature, the golden ratio of his physique further accentuated by his dark suit. Any place he stood became the eye of the storm, and all eyes were always drawn to him. His handsome features were beyond simple adjectives and it was no surprise that this photo had instantly turned him into the perfect god in the minds of countless women.

Allison nodded. “He’s certainly impressive.”

While looking at an invitation lying on the table, she asked Emma, “Are you planning to attend?”

Emma looked surprised. “Allison, you’re not thinking of skipping the annual gala, are you?”Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

Allison nodded, leaving Emma puzzled. “Why? Every artist under Epic Entertainment who receives an invitation attends in their finest attire. Hundreds of media outlets will be there. There are many newcomers who would kill for an invite.”

Emma knew that Allison was backed by powerful capital, but since she was now signed with Epic Entertainment, it was expected of her to attend their annual gala.

“I have to start shooting soon, so I wanted to spend more time rehearsing my lines.”

Wade’s film was starting mid-month.

Emma reasoned, “It’s only a few hours. With all the media present, the red-carpet photos will be a hit. We’ve even teamed up with SUMI Studio for the styling, and six outfits have been shortlisted for you to borrow.”

“All right,” Allison agreed.

Emma handed Allison a sketch of the dresses, and while she was looking at them, Emma said, “Choose two from these six to wear at the event.”

Allison chose a red and a white dress, both of the same style. Emma communicated this to the stylist, who found Allison’s choice bold. Few artists would choose two dresses of the same cut in different colors, especially for an event as important as the Epic Entertainment gala. With all the media attention, it was an ideal opportunity for newcomers like Allison to gain exposure and quickly increase their online popularity. Provided the styling was spot on, a well-marketed display of stunning looks could attract a flood of followers in this era of instant internet fame.

However, Allison’s decision did not meet any objection from Emma. “Okay, and what about your hair?”

Allison pursed her lips slightly. “For the white dress, a natural look. For the red dress, something more extravagant.”
