Chapter 1511
Aurora didn't need to ask this time; she knew Craig had definitely turned on the listening feature of that tracking app. It was all her own doing!
Back when she was terrified of not being able to find Craig, or worse, him being away on a truck run for days at a time and catching the eye of other women, she insisted Miles hack the app to let her listen in on Craig's surroundings anytime, anywhere.
She still remembers the teasing Craig endured from his trucking buddies, calling him "whipped" the moment the app was installed. But Craig, ever so nonchalant, handed over his phone, letting her fiddle with it as she pleased. Despite being a man of few words, Craig consistently showed his love through actions.
Take, for instance, the toffee.
Even after leaving Eldorria City behind in his truck, his pockets would always have room for a pack of cigarettes and some candies.
At one point, it became trendy to tie hair bands on your boyfriend's wrist as a mark of possession. Aurora got Craig a little pink flower band, and despite him joking about how girly it was, he wore it without a fuss. Craig even went as far as changing his bank account PIN to Aurora's birthday.
He secretly snapped photos of her artwork to use as his phone wallpaper.
On his rare days off, he'd go house hunting, worried that Aurora needed her own art studio, insisting on something no less than a thousand square feet.
Then, he'd come home with a mortgage calculator, painstakingly figuring out how much they'd need for a down payment and monthly installments, trying to work out when they could afford to buy.
Despite Eldorria City's sky-high property prices, Craig was determined to give Aurora the best life possible.
There was a time Aurora hinted that her family could contribute financially towards buying a house and getting married.
But Craig refused outright.
"I'm marrying you, not your money! When I'm out there driving, you just focus on your painting."
His dream was simple: to ensure his mother lived a comfortable life and to provide for Aurora.
"Craig, if you don't care about me, why did you even bother listening in on my blind date?" "It was an accident."
Aurora chuckled, handing back his phone, "Then hit another 'accident' for me, will you?"
"Craig, let's not break up, okay?"
Her eyes suddenly welled up with tears as she stuffed a piece of toffee into her mouth, "No matter how
delicious the chocolate from Franceland might be, it's toffee that I truly love!"
When Miles and Felicity arrived, they walked into this scene!
Without knowing the backstory, Felicity assumed Aurora was being mistreated again.
"Hey! Craig, are you even a man? Aurora comes out of her way to help you, and you make her cry?!"
Thankfully Miles, quick on his feet,

"Your ankle is not fine!" Fearing she'd run off again, Miles simply scooped her up, "Off we go to orthopedics! We're seeing a doctor; you two chat!"
Without waiting for a response, he hurried off with Felicity in his arms.
"Langston! Aren't you worried about your sister at all?!"
"Craig won't hurt her; at worst, they're both just stubborn."
"Why are you so sure?"
Miles sighed, "Do you really think your Aurora is easy to push around?"
