The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 1167

Chapter 1167

In the hospital, Lisbeth handed Agent A an apple.

Agent A was on the brink of insanity, having been confined to the hospital bed for five days with no sign

of Aurelia bringing the antidote. Was Aurelia playing him for a fool?

A man in a white coat entered, shutting the door behind him with a definitive click.

Lisbeth caught the calloused hands of the man, signs of a life less ordinary. This wasn't any ordinary

doctor. He was one of AK Group's killers.

They had been under surveillance by the AK Group. With Agent A's poisoning, it was only natural

they'd catch wind of it.

Agent A shot him a glare. "What took you so long?"

"The Stirling family has been on high alert. I had to be cautious," the supposed doctor replied,

extracting a syringe from his pocket.

"I need to draw some blood for research to develop the antidote."

Agent A, irritable and impatient, snapped, "Just get on with it. I don't fancy lying here like a vegetable."

Lisbeth mulled over the situation. She had assumed he was bringing the antidote. Skyler had

mentioned the poison was Geoffrey's handiwork and only he held the cure. As their boss, shouldn't

Geoffrey have sent the cure with his henchman?

"Doesn't the AK Group have the antidote?"

The killer was blunt. "The poison wasn't concocted by AK Group. How could we have the antidote?"

Lisbeth whispered, "Does the boss know about Agent A's condition?"

"I haven't been in touch with the boss yet, but there's little that escapes his notice," the killer replied.

Lisbeth guessed Geoffrey was still in the dark, or else he would have sent the antidote by now.

She needed to prevent Agent A from getting the cure. It was her leverage to find out Raines'

whereabouts.

"Can you produce an antidote?"

"If the Verdecalma labs were still operational, it would be no issue. Now, it's tricky, but we'll do what we

can," the killer assured her.

"It's not about trying but a must," Agent A commanded. That vixen Aurelia had deceived him. If he

didn't get the antidote within a month, he'd be paralyzed for life.

After the killer left, Lisbeth said, "Tomorrow, I'll head back to the Stirling Mansion to check in with

Aurelia about the antidote and get a read on the situation."

Agent A nodded. "Stir the pot. Make sure the Stirling family feels the heat so they can't brush this off."

"Will do," Lisbeth agreed.

The next day, she made her way to the Stirling Mansion, informing Aurelia of AK Group's movements.

"What if they manage to cure Agent A before us?"

A chill flickered in Aurelia's eyes as she said, "We'll move Agent A to a secure location tomorrow. Make

sure no one gets near him."

Lisbeth sipped on her iced tea, "How's the antidote coming along?"

Lisbeth nodded slightly. "You've thought of everything."

Being her first pregnancy, Lisbeth would be clueless without Aurelia's help.

Lisbeth caressed her still-flat belly.

"Do you think Raines would be happy to know about the baby?" Drąмanоvels.com This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .

"Of course," Aurelia smiled warmly. "Raines loves children. He's even said he wants at least three."

A wave of relief washed over Lisbeth's face.

"Geoffrey and Raines are half-brothers without bad blood. Geoffrey wouldn't harm Raines, would he?"
