"You might treat her as your sister, but that doesn't mean she would treat you the same way. That's enough, Winter. I know you're worried about her, but you should stay out of this. I have to teach Noelle a lesson no matter what. If I don't do anything, she'll just continue being arrogant. You might end up getting

bullied further."

Winter's eyes narrowed. She sneered in her heart but put on an anxious look on her face as she looked at Suzy.

Suzy shook her head. "You should stay out of this, Winter. This is between Annie and Noelle. You know that very well."

Winter lowered her head in despair. However, she smiled coldly when Annie and Suzy were not looking. Her hands were clenched tightly at both sides.

Noelle was no match for Winter at all. How dare she try taking Xavier away from Winter? Tomorrow would be the day Noelle found out the consequences of trying to take Winter's man away from her.

Meanwhile, Noelle was not planning on attending the classmate reunion. However, Rowena and Teresa kept talking about how it had been a long time since they had attended a reunion. Moreover, a few of their good friends from their university days would be attending this session.

When their class representative, Mindy Lancaster, got married, they were unable to attend. She called them personally to talk them into attending the reunion. They used to be classmates, after all, so they should meet up.

Rowena and Teresa kept trying to talk Noelle into attending it, and Mindy had even called her the night before about it. She insisted that Noelle join the reunion and even told Noelle that she wanted to

introduce a friend to Noelle.

Noelle could no longer reject the invitation, especially when Mindy had helped her when that thing happened. Hence, Noelle agreed.

She got into a momentary daze after hanging up. That was when Charles walked out of the bathroom. His hair was still dripping wet. Noelle put her phone away and stood up. "Why didn't you dry your hair?”

Charles smiled as Noelle went into the bathroom and took out a towel. She waved Charles over to her.

He narrowed his eyes and glanced at Noelle. He felt happy as he watched Noelle. They were acting more and more like they had been married forever.

Noelle went over to Charles and pushed him down on the couch. She walked behind him and began to gently wipe his hair dry.

The lighting in the room was low. The dim, orange lighting had a subtle warmth. Noelle's dainty fingers went through Charles' hair. She gently massaged his scalp, and he gave a long sigh as he closed his eyes In satisfaction.

"I might come home late tomorrow night."

Charles raised his head when Noelle said this. He opened his eyes and looked at her. "Do you have a gathering?"

Noelle nodded. She looked like she suddenly remembered something and said, "Yes. It's a reunion. I wasn't planning on going, but Rowena and Teresa are adamant about attending it. Also, my class representative back then called me as well, so..."

"You should goif you want to."

Charles smiled and reached out to take Noette's hand. He patted it. "You don't have much to do recently. anyway. You can't lock yourself up at home all the time. You should go out if you want to."

"Alright." Noelle smiled and continued, "I won't be able to make you dinner tomorrow night."

"It's fine. I have a business dinner to attend tomorrow night, anyway." Charles paused. "Your classmates... They're from Vista University?"

Charles began to rack his brain for all the information he had on Noelle. He looked up at her. "Just be careful tomorrow!"

Noelle's heart thumped. Her gentle fingers on Charles' temples suddenly paused. She quickly understood what Charles meant and she pressed her lips slightly. "I will."
