Cordelia originally wanted to ask Brooklyn to be her driver because she couldn't drive. But seeing that

Ronan followed Emerson's line of sight and looked at Cordelia again. He said, unsure of what she was
talking to Brooklyn about, "I think her name is Cordelia."
"Oh, she's your..." Emerson felt awkward. "I almost got misled by you. Isn't she going home with you?"
"No, she's going to her mother's place." The car passed by, and Ronan saw Cordelia waiting for the
bus. Her brows were furrowed the whole time.
Ronan sneered in his heart. She was probably feeling upset and worried about Jamie.
With that thought, Ronan sent a message to Adrian. [Has Jamie's news been released?]
Ronan's phone rang a few times. Adrian replied. [It has been released and will hit the headlines soon.]

Ronan smiled. Adrian probably thought he had done him a favor and would start asking for conditions.
