Mitchell did not want to use such a despicable way to obtain cooperation.

Selena also felt sorry for hurting Nicole because of this and was looking for a chance to make it up to her. Floyd's birthday banquet was grand.

Kai purposely made it very lively to lift Floyd’s spirits after being injured by Eric’s people.

He invited many of Floyd’s old friends in the business world as well as many singers and dancers.

It was more like a New Year's Eve party.

Floyd was downstairs exchanging pleasantries with the guests when he saw a group of women dancing with their thighs exposed. He was truly horrified.

However, Kai was very satisfied with his arrangement.

It was a dazzling show which attracted many men and women to stop and appreciate it.

Floyd's face was red from anger, but he could not scold Kai in front of everyone.

Floyd was cursing Kai a million times in his heart.

It was so shameful!

Finally, the formalities were done. After cutting the cake, Floyd could not wait to let everyone drink and have fun. He tried to grab everyone’s attention from the stage.

However, it was not very effective.

Clayton walked over with a smile, took Floyd’s arm, and said, “Dad, this dance is a bit long. Shall we change it to a poetry reading instead?”

Floyd was taken aback for a moment. Then, he immediately praised his son-in-law’s taste.

“Yes, poetry reading is a traditional art that we should nurture the masses with. You have great taste! Much better than that idiot Kail”

Floyd cursed in a low voice and added, “Change the program now!”

Clayton nodded with a smile, then asked someone to change the program.

Without the group of women flashing their thighs, the whole event felt a lot classier.

Kai was still a little disappointed. He came to Clayton angrily.

“Those girls are my company’s artists. They finally have a chance to practice their talent. Why did you change them out?” Before Clayton could speak, Floyd pinched Kai’s ears and dragged him into the lounge.

“You little brat! Are you trying to mess things up? Do you think this is a bar or a club? This is my birthday party. | shouldn’t have left it to you. I’m about to get a heart attack!”

“Dad, please forgive me! Daddy!”

Kai was dragged into the lounge while holding his ear in pain.

“No one said anything. | bet they envy you!”

Clayton smiled and loosened his collar. Instead of following them inside, he turned to look for Nicole. Unexpectedly, Eric brought his wife here.

Clayton raised his eyebrows slightly. If Eric had not gotten married, Clayton would not have left Nicole’s side at ease. “Mr. Ferguson, it’s great to have you here.”

When Clayton returned to Mediania two days ago, he heard that Eric and Floyd had a very unpleasant row. Clayton thought that Eric would not come, but he clearly underestimated Eric’s thick skin every time.

Eric glanced at Clayton lightly.

“Sorry to disappoint you. I’m here.”
