The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Chapter 2405

Chapter 2405

Bella's chest heaved with uneven breaths. Her nose was red and her tear-filled eyes fixed on Justin in stunned silence.

In Justin's absence, Bella was utterly fearless. She faced the darkness and fought the world's evils with unyielding courage

But when Justin appeared, shielding her like a savior in her moment of need, everything changed.

For the first time, she felt fear.

She started to cry. Her heart softened. The strong front she had kept up crumbled, and she became a fragile shell, swept away by the tidal wave of emotions this man stirred in her.

It turned out that Bella was just like any other girl, she could feel fear. But that was only when Justin was around.

Ignoring the pain in his back, Justin grasped Bella's trembling shoulders with his large hands and carefully examined her from head to toe repeatedly.

When he was sure she was merely startled and was not physically hurt, the tightness in his chest eased slightly.

"Justin..." Dr. Wagner stood frozen, staring at Justin who seemed to have dropped out of the sky. His body shook uncontrollably, his face pale with fear.

But then he snapped back to his senses and screamed at Jerome, "Run, son! Run!"

Although Jerome was hotheaded, he was not a fool. He did not know Bella, but he certainly knew who Justin

was

Realizing the impending disaster, Jerome broke into a cold sweat and took off running.

He barely got two steps before a sharp pain shot through his lower back. "Ahh!"

The next second, Jerome tumbled down the stairs, landing face-first in a muddy garden.

He scrambled to get up, but a heavy boot pressed down on his tailbone, pinning him in place. He could not

move.

It felt like his bones were about to snap. The pain was so intense that he clenched his teeth and yelled, "Who the hell are you?!"novelbin

"Your maker." A mocking voice came from above.

"Ryan?!" Bella looked at the man she had not seen in ages.

Ryan, with his bold, unruly demeanor and sharp, fox-like eyes, stood there like he owned the world. Seeing him reunite with Justin stirred something deep inside her.

Surprisingly, despite all his dramatic gestures, the black wool coat draped over Ryan's shoulders remained perfectly in place, as though it were glued on.

The Prince of Savrow was, without question, a man who would rather break his neck than let his hairstyle be ruined. He was a true embodiment of style and poise.

"Chairman Hoffman!" Steven called out, his face lighting up in surprise.

"Bella, Steve!" Ryan greeted them with a sly smile while pressing the tip of his shoe harder.

With a sickening crack, Jerome's tailbone snapped.

"Ryan... Hoffman..." Dr. Wagner stammered, his face drained of color. He had heard of Ryan, the man was feared by both the legal and the underground worlds. His entire body went numb with fear.

How had he managed to attract not one, but three powerful figures to his doorstep in a single night?! With a loud thud, Dr. Wagner's legs gave out, and he collapsed to his knees, pale and shaking.

Seeing that Ryan had completed his show, both of his bodyguards came forward and restrained Jerome. "Justin, are you okay?" Ryan asked as he strode over to Justin, his expression filled with concern. "I'm fine," Justin replied, standing tall and straight, not even flinching.

Ryan's eyes widened in disbelief. "That giant flowerpot was smashed to pieces, and you're totally fine? Are you made of steel or something?"

"You still talk too much." Justin shot back, his deep, unreadable gaze flickering to Bella's pale face, which now glowed faintly red.

"You rascal." Ryan chuckled, a warm feeling blooming in his chest.

Justin's sarcasm was back, that was a good sign. It felt like the old days again. Maybe it meant he was starting to feel again. Perhaps he was healing.
