The Hidden Gold Mine Heiress Divorcee

Chapter 401

Chapter 401

Chapter 401 Sean’s Discovery

“What did you say?” Boris asked casually.

He just finished the recording of the show and was walking out of the studio. It was noisy, so he could only hear Steven’s crying.

In Boris‘ impression, Steven was always fussy, so he didn’t take it seriously.

However, a heart–piercing wailing sounded the next moment. “Ziana! Ziana just fainted! And she was sent to the emergency room!”

Boris stopped abruptly, and the people following him also subconsciously stopped.

“Mr. Lewis?”

The director of the TV station asked carefully. However, Boris hung up the phone without saying a word and just ran away.

He strode into the car and closed the door in a hurry. The sports car rushed out like an arrow off the bow in an instant.

The head of the station was puzzled. He thought seeing Boris‘ leaving in a hurry must have something to do with Vivi.

In the car.

Boris told Nell, “Drive faster.”

Nell looked at Boris in the rearview mirror. Boris got into the car in a hurry just now, and now his face was so pale as never seen.

He frowned and asked worriedly, “Mr. Lewis, what’s the matter? Did you have a headache again?”

However, Boris‘ hands and legs were shaking uncontrollably, and he just kept muttering, “Hurry up. Please drive faster!”

Seeing that he was not in good condition, Nell didn’t dare to ask anymore. He pressed the accelerator hard along the way and quickly rushed to the hospital.

Before Nell went over to help Boris, Boris had already gotten out of the car and staggered upstairs.

Nell also hurriedly followed Boris. As he walked, he gradually realized that the way was wrong. He then saw the emergency room, and Steven, who was waiting outside the emergency room.

“What’s going on?”

There was a stern voice that sounded when Nell was guessing wildly.

“Steven!” Boris gritted his teeth and shouted.

Steven was sitting against the wall with his forehead resting on his hands. When he heard the shouting, he immediately raised his head. His eyes were swollen from crying and looked very scary.

Steven stood up abruptly and walked over while leaning on the wall. “Boris… Boris… I’m so scared!”

Boris strode over, grabbed Steven by the collar, and pulled him over.

There was a chill in Boris‘ eyes. He asked icily, “Say it again. Who fainted?”

“Ziana!” Steven took a deep breath and said, “It was Ziana. When I was going to drive back, I saw a woman in front of me about to fall to the ground in the parking lot, so I kindly helped her up, and then I found it was Ziana. She then fainted, and her breathing was very rapid.”

Boris flung Steven away. He paced back and forth and then took out a cigarette from his pocket, bit it, and lit it.

He took a deep breath and calmed down gradually. “She will be fine. How long has she been in the emergency room?”

“It’s been more than half an hour.” Steven asked in a daze, “Boris, what is wrong with Ziana?”

Boris remembered that Ziana fainted last time when they were in the private restaurant.

He pondered for a moment and then said to Nell, “Notify the chief of the hospital and call the best medical resources in Japera City.”

Nell was aware of what Ziana meant to Boris.

If something happened to Ziana, Boris would go crazy, and everyone would be miserable.

Nell was apprehensive and didn’t dare to tarry, so he turned around to do what he was told after hearing that. Unexpectedly, the door of the emergency room opened at this moment.

Steven immediately called out, “Doctor!”

Boris also trotted over.

Steven asked, “Doctor! Where is the patient? How is she? I have to go in and take a look at her!”

“The patient is fine, and she has regained consciousness.” While the doctor was speaking, Ziana was pushed out.

Boris and Steven immediately stopped pestering the doctor and came to the hospital bed one after another.

Ziana’s eyes were open, but her eyes were empty. She was like wandering and thinking of something, and she seemed to be trapped in her world.

“Ziana,” Boris leaned over and called her softly.

Ziana turned her head slowly, and her dilated pupils slowly focused.

“Boris?”

Ziana felt that the handsome and profound facial face in front of her was the same as in memory. It looked ruthless and passionate. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

Boris looked at Ziana so intently that made her couldn’t tell for a moment whether this was reality. or a memory.

Boris sensed that something was wrong with Ziana. He frowned slightly and said in a gentle voice, “It’s me, Ziana. I’m here. How do you feel now?”

Ziana shook her head. She slowly raised her hand and stroked Boris‘ cheek.

Boris‘ warm skin was just against her fingertips, and she could even feel the trickle of blood flowing under his skin.

“Boris,” Ziana murmured again.

“Yes, I’m here.” Boris lowered his body and knelt on one knee beside the bed. “What’s wrong?”

Ziana shook her head again. Looking at the face in front of her, she recalled the man who had one eye pierced miserably five years ago.

Ziana touched the outline of Boris‘ eyebrows and eyes with one hand.

Boris‘ body was slightly stiff, and he looked at Ziana motionlessly.

She drew circles on his left eye with her fingers.

The numb feeling made Boris realize something, and he couldn’t help but look at Ziana in surprise.

“You…” Boris held Ziana’s hand nervously. He still looked calm, but he was very nervous inwardly.

He wanted to ask Ziana if she remembered something, but he was also afraid that his question. would arouse her suspicion if she didn’t remember it..

Boris pursed his lips and looked at Ziana. Under her gaze, he finally said gently, “Let’s go back to the ward first, okay?”

After saying that, he carried her up. Seeing this, Nell and Steven quickly stepped up to follow them.

They left in a mighty way, but they didn’t know that there was a camera behind them that captured these scenes.

When they were completely out of sight, Sean put his phone away.

Flipping through the photos he took, his expression became puzzled and playful.

He didn’t know that Boris had something to do with Ziana.

And he didn’t know when they had the relationship.

If Boris passed his affection to another woman after Vivi was disfigured, it would be difficult for Sean.

If Boris no longer liked Vivi, then it would be useless for Sean to hold Vivi. Vivi would no longer be a way Sean could use to threaten Boris.

Sean knew Boris very well. He had always been indifferent and ruthless to people who he didn’t care about, and could even be cruel sometimes.

Therefore, Sean had to figure out the relationship between Boris and Ziana.

With gloomy eyes, Sean turned around and went upstairs.

Ten minutes later.

He stood outside the door of Vivi’s ward..

“Tap–tap…”

After knocking several times, Sean got no response. He then pushed open the door with a sneer.

As soon as he entered the ward, there was a huge living room. He walked through it and went directly to the bedroom.

Boris treated Vivi well, and Vivi was living in a luxurious single ward.

However, men were all superficial. Vivi was now disfigured, so it was normal for Boris to pass his affection to another.

While thinking, Sean came to the door of the bedroom.

Vivi was watching TV.

Half of her face was wrapped in bandages, but her severely corroded skin still could be seen.

When Sean saw it, he felt sick. He knocked on the bedroom door with a cold face.

Vivi was lying on the bed. When she heard the knock on the door, she came back to her senses in shock. And when she saw Sean, she immediately panicked. “Why are you here? You shouldn’t be here! Boris is coming soon! What if he sees us and suspects us?”

“He and I are cooperative partners now. It’s normal both emotionally and rationally when I come to visit you after something like this happened. But…” Sean paused deliberately, and then said meaningfully, “I’m afraid he doesn’t have time to care about you. He’s with another woman now.”
