The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)

Chapter 332

Chapter 332

Magnus nodded excitedly. "Book me a flight to Italy pronto, I want to check out this company

personally."

He clutched the design draft tightly. It had to be his wife’s work. He knew each and every one of her

sketches. His wife must have been in Italy!

At a British castle, Lexi was cuddling a chubby little bundle of joy, tickling him and making him laugh

from time to time.

Over a year had passed since she had fled from Callum’s private castle, heavily pregnant. On her way

back to Melfort, she ran into Natalia and was caught by Callum, who followed her using a tracker.

Callum then confessed his love to her in front of Natalia, saying he had unknowingly fallen in love with

her and begged for a chance to prove his love.

She wasn't sure why she agreed; maybe she had feelings for Callum too, or perhaps it was because of

the baby she was carrying?

Lexi had forgotten her reasoning at the time, but she knew for sure that she had agreed, and even

allowed Callum to accompany her home to meet her parents.

She thought her parents would be angry about her sudden disappearance and her return with a

stranger. But to her surprise, they were quickly charmed by Callum and seemed eager to get her out of

their house.

So, she only stayed home for a few days before flying back with Callum to England to give birth.

In just a few months, their little baby couldn't wait any longer and was born. Despite having

housemaids to take care of him, Lexi insisted on taking care of him herself. She didn't want to miss a

single moment with her baby.

Callum had gone out to get her favorite treat. He hadn't returned yet, and it took her two calls to realize

he had left his phone at home. What a scatterbrain!

"Bzzt - Bzzzt."

The sound of a text message rang out. Lexi, still holding her baby, opened the message. [My dear, I'm

waiting for you at the bewitching hour of midnight. Wildcat.]

Lexi turned ashen after reading the message. Wildcat, what a spicy name!

Everyone said the husband would cheat after the wife giving birth, but it seemed to be true. “Callum,

you're in for it!”

Lexi tossed Callum's phone on the table and patiently waited for him to return. Soon enough, Callum

returned, his arms laden with shopping bags. Even though they had maids who could run errands, he

insisted on doing it himself. He claimed it was the only way he could be sure the food was safe for Lexi

to eat, as if someone might poison her.

Callum excitedly entered the living room, dropped the bags on the table, and leaned over to kiss his

baby son. “Come here, sweetheart, give your daddy a kiss.”

Lexi pushed Callum away. “Did you wash your hands first? How could you think of touching our baby

with those germy hands?”

Callum quickly stood up and headed to the bathroom. “Right, right, must wash hands first.”

Callum returned after washing his hands, a goofy grin on his face. “Alright, my dear wife, can I kiss our

baby now?”

Ever since Lexi and their son came into his life, Callum’s life had been as sweet as honey. He was a

typical doting husband and devoted father.

Lexi gave Callum a sideways glance. “Dream on, what have you done behind my back?”

Callum was at a loss. “Nothing, my love. I wish I had more time to spend with you. I swear, I haven’t

done anything to betray you.”

“Really?” Lexi’s eyes narrowed. “Bring me the onions you bought.”

“Why?” Callum asked, although he still fetched the onions. “My dear wife, what do you want to do with

them?”

“No, Callum, you said you haven’t done anything wrong. If I can prove otherwise, you’d better prepare

to chop the onions!” Lexi pulled out Callum’s phone. “Read this message out loud in front of our son. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Who’s Wildcat?”

Callum’s eyes sparkled briefly before he regained his composure. “My love, I swear I haven’t done

anything wrong.”

“Really?” Lexi’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “Then tell me, who sent this ‘Wildcat’ message?”

“Maybe it’s a wrong number, my love. Maybe they sent the message to the wrong person.”

Lexi’s face darkened at Callum’s explanation. He was covering up his tracks. He must have been

cheating behind her back! If she didn’t put a stop to this, he would only get bolder.

She carefully put their sleeping baby down and walked over to Callum, poking him in the chest, “You’re

so shameless! Why did you even come back? Go find your little wildcat at your rendezvous, in the

bewitching hour of midnight!”

Callum suddenly laughed, scooping Lexi up in his arms and spinning her around. “I’m thrilled you’re

jealous, baby. You’re so cute when you’re jealous!”

Lexi was dizzy from the spinning and hit Callum’s broad chest in protest. “Who’s jealous? Have you

gone mad? Put me down now.”

“I won’t, not until you admit you’re jealous!” Callum spun faster. “Admit it, you’re jealous!”

Lexi’s face flushed. “You’re the one who cheated, and you have the nerve to say I’m jealous! Let go of

me now, or I’ll get really angry!” With that, Lexi inflated her cheeks in a pout, looking truly upset.

Callum saw the anger flashing across Lexi’s face and quickly put her down, speaking in a soft,

placating tone, “My darling wife,” he began. “I have something very important to tell you. This Wildcat

you’re talking about… is me.” He erupted into a hearty laugh that echoed around the room.
