The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)

Chapter 475

Chapter 475

Natalia thought Richard has said something, so she asked again with patience, "Mr. Richard, what did you just say? Sorry, | didn't quite catch that."

"Oh," Richard chuckled awkwardly. He didn't mean to be abrupt with the beauty before him and said softly, "Your drawing is absolutely stunning. Would you mind sketching a portrait of me?"

Natalia initially wanted to decline, but remembering he was her son's mentor, she replied diplomatically, "Mr. Richard, I'm afraid my skills are not quite up to par."

"NO, NO, NO," Richard blurted out excitedly, waving his hands. "You are the most skilled artist I've ever come across. | sincerely ask you to do me the honor of drawing my portrait, and | hope you won't refuse."

"Well, alright then," Natalia conceded. "As long as you don’t mind too much. | hope you'll be forgiving if there's anything not quite right."

Natalia turned a fresh page of her sketch pad. "Please, Mr. Richard, just strike any pose you like. I'll do a quick sketch for you."

Since Natalia had agreed, Richard's eyes lit up with joy. He crossed his arms and struck what he thought was his most dashing pose, giving Natalia a twinkling look. "OK, I'm ready. Please begin."

Natalia nodded and began to sketch Richard with great care. She was so focused on her work that Richard couldn't help but be mesmerized, wishing that time could stand still and allow them a few more moments together.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Since it was a quick sketch, Natalia finished in no time. She handed the portrait to Richard. "Mr. Richard, please have a look. It's not perfect, but | hope you'll excuse my shortcomings."

Richard took the portrait with trembling hands, and his excitement was palpable as he praised her, "No, no, no, it's incredibly lifelike. Good heavens, you truly are the most beautiful and talented woman I've ever met. This portrait is the best gift I've ever received in my life."

Seeing Richard's exaggerated excitement, Natalia smiled modestly. "As long as you like it, Mr. Richard. And please, look after Jonas for me, will you?"

Richard folded the sketch carefully and placed it close to his heart, then looked at Natalia with a pleading gaze. "Thank you so much for this drawing. Might | be so bold as to ask for a hug?”

Instinctively, Natalia wanted to decline, but then she remembered that Richard was Jonas’ mentor, so she smiled broadly and agreed. "Sure."

Richard was over the moon. He opened his arms wide and embraced Natalia warmly.

Just then, Richard saw Magnus jogging toward them. A mischievous grin spread across Richard's face, and he tightened his hug.

Magnus rushed over, his fist heading straight for Richard. "Richard, you bastard! She's my wife!"

As the punch whistled towards the back of Richard's head, he seemed to have eyes in the back of his head and caught Magnus’ hand quickly, countering with a jab towards Magnus' face.

Magnus wasn't one to back down, ducking Richard's blow and elbowing him in the back. The two men traded blows, exchanging a flurry of moves.

Natalia stood there, half amused and half exasperated. "What on earth are you two doing? You're brawling like children."

After scuffling for a bit and having his fill, Richard let Magnus get the upper hand, staggering back as if defeated and laughing heartily. "Haha, Magnus, so you do get jealous, huh?"

Magnus, still seething, retorted, "There are lines friends don't cross, you jerk. You're not fit to teach my son. I'm taking him away now!"

Richard flipped him the bird and burst into laughter. "Magnus, my man, it was just a joke. But you had to take it seriously and throw real punches. You're such a small-minded guy."

Then, Richard teasingly pulled out the sketch Natalia had made, waving it in Magnus' face. "Hey, check this out. My exclusive

portrait. Does it make you mad? Want to take it back? Haha, not a chance!

As Richard flaunted the drawing, Magnus recognized Natalia's style and tried to snatch it, but Richard dodged and ran off faster than a hare.

“Lucky you can run, or I'd have knocked your block off!" Magnus shouted after him. "I'm warning you, don't think you can take liberties just because we're old buddies. Come near my wife again, and I'll break every bone in your body!"

Natalia watched her fuming husband with a mix of exasperation and

Magnus turned to face her, his expression still stern. Without a word, he swept her up in his arms and carried her back to the hotel.

Natalia had no idea what was bothering Magnus, so she just leaned into his chest, still amused by his earlier display of jealousy.

Magnus, however, seemed to be on a roll, carrying Natalia all the way to their room and tossing her onto the bed before fervently kissing her. His kiss was domineering and sweet, as if he were punishing Natalia. It was almost as though he wished to devour her whole.

She responded passively at first, then heard Magnus growl near her ear, "You're mine, for life. No one else can touch you, understand?"

He was fuming, not even waiting for Natalia to respond before laying into Richard. "Richard, that big sleaze he's nothin ui ewaitiresheep’s aornegOa ea you believe he tried to make a move on you while | was away? | never should've let Jonas hang around that guy! Natalia couldn't help but laugh through her tears, rubbing Magnus’ chest to calm him down. It was just a hug with Richard, for heaven's sake, not some unforgivable sin.

"Magnus, it was just a friendly hug, that's all. Can you please not blow

Magnus knew Natalia was right, and he let out a defeated sigh, unloading all his frustrations about Richard onto her. He began to pepper her skin with kisses, marking her passionately. "Darling, you know | can't stand the thought of any other man touching you. | just can't!"

He wanted to brand her with his marks, claim every inch of her as his own, and that still wasn't enough—he wished he could keep her tucked away in his pocket, safe from the world.
