Chapter 52 - Secret Service Showdown

Arthur and Alicia faced a large crowd of people, each wearing black suits and sporting muscular

frames. All of them were smirking in disdain at the two of them.

"So, are we just here to capture this weak girl and bear mask guy?" asked one of the men as he slowly

advanced.

"Ha ha ha ha… this is the easiest job I've ever had!" added some of the other men.

"Did the boss say we can do anything to this girl? I heard Asian girls like to be loud in bed," another

man said.

The people around them shouted noisily, yet Alicia and Arthur remained unfazed. Knowing that they

could easily handle the situation, Alicia grabbed Arthur's sleeve and whispered, "Oppa...."

Arthur replied softly, "Alicia..." He smiled behind his bear mask and added, "If you're okay with it, let me

take care of this. I really want to show them how strong I am, and I think this is the perfect chance to do

it."

“Oppa, there are so many of them, are you sure you can do it? There are tens of people, you will be

exhausted and they will beat you. I don't want anything bad to happen to you. So I will help you fight

them.” she insisted.

Arthur shook his head and slowly stepped forward, raising his hand in an effort to emphasize his point.

"I'm not trying to be overly confident," he declared emphatically, "but I'm not someone they guys can

easily belittle."

The people before Arthur immediately looked excited, their faces full of enthusiasm. "Okay guys," one

of them began, "I don't think we need to delay what we are going to do any longer. I want to touch that

girl's body right away, so let's just settle things with this pathetic guy right now."

"Of course," his friends replied in unison, "he looks very weak, his body is small and not as muscular as

ours. I'm sure with just one punch from my hand he will immediately pass out." This was greeted by

loud laughter from the group.

Arthur then reached into his jacket pocket, appearing to be searching for something.

"Do you think he's going to take out a gun?" one of them asked, their eyes wide with shock.

Panic quickly set in, and they ran toward Arthur. "That man's got a gun! Attack him right away!" the

others shouted and rushed towards Arthur.

Instead of the expected silence, everyone was surprised to hear loud music blaring from Arthur’s jacket

pocket. It was as if a beat was playing from a movie action scene.

"What the hell is he doing?" one of them shouted.

Arthur smiled and then immediately assumed a martial arts stance he had seen on television, trying to

imitate it. "I'm sure with some background music, this battle would be even more exciting, don't you

think?" he said confidently.

Alicia, eager not to miss the moment, quickly grabbed her smartphone and tried to record what Arthur

was about to do. “Oppa, please give us a show that will make Mr. Glitzy is even more popular in the city

and beyond.”

"Sure thing," Arthur replied, his excitement palpable.

The sound of music with a fast and loud beat reverberated through the hallway in front of Arthur as

several men in black suits appeared to be running toward him with their hands clenched into fists.

"I will teach you a lesson and make you regret ever daring to act so boldly in front of The Kraken's

strongest troops!" one of them yelled and then threw a punch directly at Arthur.

"Really?" Arthur replied softly, swiftly jerking his head to the right to dodge the incoming fist. His agility

was impressive. He clenched his right fist, and in an instant, his fist collided with the man's ribs.

The man felt a sharp pain as his ribs shattered under the force of the punch. He was thrown back

violently and struck the wall with an immense thud.

"What in the world is going on here? Did I just see that correctly?" questioned one person.

"Is it really possible for someone to move that quickly and powerfully?" exclaimed another.

"We can't show any fear; we have to take him down now. Everyone, let's all attack together!" shouted

the final person.

Alicia was overwhelmed with an intense feeling of euphoria, and she let out an enthusiastic clap.

"Yippee! You can do it Oppa, show them who's the boss!" she yelled.

Arthur then smiled faintly as six people sprinted towards him. "Alicia," he said calmly, "make sure you

"You're being too confident," one of them scoffed. "You're gonna get beaten up so badly, you won't dare

say something like that again!"

"Kill him!" another one of them shouted.

The sound of a rapid beat filled the air as they closed in on Arthur, encircling him. Then, in unison, they

threw punches at Arthur.

Arthur seemed to be able to see the movements of the people around him in slow motion. This was

due to the improvements in his senses, his far-from-average physique, and his mind's newfound ability

to work faster, even allowing him to predict the movements of his attackers.

"I hope you guys have health insurance," Arthur said quickly as he lowered his body and then nimbly

threw a fist into his opponent's jaw, sending him flying backward. "Because you're going to need it after

this."

With tremendous skill, Arthur managed to dodge the punch from behind, swiftly spinning around and

punching his opponent in the face. The force of the punch sent his opponent flying into the wall with a

loud thump.

Arthur's leg flew to the side with lightning speed, and with a swift kick, he managed to land two

powerful blows in mid-air. This sent the two foes crashing to the ground with a loud thud that made the

floor shake.

With remarkable dexterity, Arthur seized the heads of the two remaining opponents, and with a

powerful clap of their heads, they both fell to the floor, unconscious.

Astonishingly, Arthur had managed to defeat six people in a matter of seconds. He then turned to the

others, ready for the next attack.

“Are you guys still sure you want to face me?” he said calmly.

"Call the others, we have to take this seriously," they replied in unison, quickly grabbing their golf clubs

and preparing to face Arthur.

"Alright Oppa, let's do this!" Alicia exclaimed, her enthusiasm palpable.

"Alicia, why were you so worried about me before, and now you seem entertained by what I'm doing?"

Arthur asked in a low voice.

"What can I say, Oppa? My curiosity has been piqued by your secret agent-like fighting skills. So don't

blame me if I end up falling for you after this – it's hard not to be impressed by what I'm seeing! I'm sure

anyone who views this video will think that the person behind the bear mask is Tom Cruise shooting the

latest scene from the movie Mission Impossible."
