“20 minutes, I’m giving u not more than 20 minutes to prepare the meal. Your time starts now.”

He added and the maid hurriedly ran to the kitchen to prepare what Diaz had ordered her, she didn’t dare to waste a damn minute so she settled for a quick meal.

Diaz muttered, taking the food from the maid hands and thanks to his ability to superspeed, he was standing at Maddie’s door in less than a second.

He carefully opened the door and Maddie’s sleeping face welcomed him.

He dropped the food on the table beside the bed, taking his time to stare at the sleeping beauty in front of him.

How can someone be so beautiful yet so innocent?

He asked himself, gently removing the strands of hair which covered her sleeping face.

His smile immediately turned to a frown as Maddie started shaking while muttering some inaudible words which he could hear clearly.

She murmured while shaking violently from her sleep.

She was having the nightmare again.

She screamed, waking up from her nightmare while sweating profusely and Diaz didn’t fail to hear the fast beating of her heart in her chest.

“It’s alright Maddie, it’s was just a dream.”

He whispered, gently stroking her hair and he could feel her nerves calming down a bit.

Maddison had been so terrified.

She suddenly started coughing and Diaz quickly gave her some water to drink but still that didn’t stop her coughs, instead it made it worse.

She started coughing intensively and Diaz frozed on his seat seeing some liquid dropping from her lips.

He slowly wiped the liquid off her delicious lips and his eyes widened in shock.

She sprouted blood and this only meant one thing.
