Elsa was not in the mood, She’d only wanted to lay back on her bed and think about her forsaken life.

“It hurts when people try to remind you that you don’t belong. It’s not like I care.” Elsa tried shuffling the thought out.

“Oh my God. Home at last.” Alice breathes in as she collapses on the single couch resting her leg on the armrest.

Lucas sits close to Olivia and right now, they are all staring at Elsa. Reminding about the incident with Michelle.

“Elsa, what’s going on ?” Alice asks, not breaking the eye contact between both of them.

“It’s going to be nice if you quit lying. You’ve lied enough. Do you know Radon.? And I’m sure that blonde-haired lookalike of you was you. You were the girl right?”

Elsa sighed and rub her temple. Where is she supposed to start from?

Elsa knew she wasn’t stupid because after this conversation they are going to hate her.

” When did I start lying,” Elsa growled.

“Fine, I’ve seen Radon.”

They raise their brows in shock but Olivia wasn’t that shocked.

“That’s about two to three months ago.”

“Jesus Elsa. I thought you said you’ve never met him.”Alice said.

“I have and I’m sorry for lying. He kind of took me into his house the day I find out that May is my stepmom, I stood in the rain for like five minutes before he dropped by. Moreover, I came to find out he was the guy that saved me the first day we went to a night party.”

“So you’re saying, you’re secretly dating Radon and you’ve been lying about it.”

“We’re not dating.”

“Then what are you ?” Lucas asked.

“I don’t know. That’s one of the reasons I didn’t tell you guys. I was scared. I don’t even know what we’re doing, but if tell Olivia about him and she had seen me with me, twice. I just stopped talking about him and I guess Olivia forgot it too…” Elsa sighed, highly frustrated.

“So you guys have been intimate?” Alice asked, still not reacting.

“Well yeah. We had, but it was just once.”

“Holy moly. You fucked Radon? You exchange bed with Radon!? Exchange spits and all that. Oh my fuck, why did I ever doubt you.” Olivia mutters.

“You know the funny thing about this. We are all friends. And you’ve been secretly seeing someone and you decide not to tell us, Even if you’d tell Olivia and I guess it’s just… I don’t know. You couldn’t even tell me, Elsa I’m your childhood friend.”

“I’m sorry guys.”

“It’s not about being sorry. Elsa, you lied to us. It’s like you saw us as fools. You fooled us. You once told me about you seeing a man who you ain’t quite sure about, and I didn’t even recognize him to be Radon because you never told me much about him. Then pretending you haven’t been seeing him after and you’ve fucked him. Disguised as a blonde-haired and went to a party with him. Just put yourself in our shoes.” Olivia said.

Elsa bites her bottom lip and sighed.

” I’m just gonna leave.” Lucas stood up and head to the door.

“And we had to find out in such a stupid way. If Michelle didn’t talk shit about you, you won’t even tell us. We’re just mad because you lied and even pretend you’ve never been in contact with him. He was the one who gave you that necklace right?” Olivia asked.

Elsa shut her eyes and nodded.

“We asked you. You said it was a random guy. I need a nap. Later guys.” Lucas opened the door and walk out.

“Bye Alice. Talk later, Elsa.” Olivia said and walked out too.

Now Elsa and Alice were left together. Elsa shakes her head sideways and stands up too.

“Alice, I’m sorry. It wasn’t intentional.”

She shrugs.” Yeah, I know.” She squatted close to Zoey who lay next to Elsa’s feet.

“Come on Zoey. Let’s go.” She rubs her furs and carries her off the floor.

“Later Elsa”

Elsa sighed and watch her leave with Zoey.

Now she felt abandoned. Elsa pick up her phone and blocked Gray’s number. If she’s ever seeing him, she’d be telling him to leave her alone.

Elsa slumped on the couch and pull her knees to get the chest. She so much hate being lied to and she just did the same thing to people she called friends. That hurts a lot.

It’s Monday again and Elsa didn’t feel like going to class. The thought of her friends not speaking to her hurts a lot. Elsa lazily slides out of bed and goes to the bathroom. She stood under the shower till she was about to feel cold. She stepped out and quickly get dressed.

Elsa walked into her first class and take a sit. Olivia and Lucas sit at the front, two seats from Elsa’s as they talked and laugh. Lucas chuckles and turns around. His eyes meet Elsa’s and Elsa was sure she heard him sigh and then look back at Olivia who didn’t bother to turn around.

“Elsa” She turned to look beside her and it was Liam.

“Hey..” Elsa gave him a fake smile.

“You look pale. Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, thanks. What are you doing here? I never knew I share the same class with you in econ.”

“Partially business major.” He chuckles.

“I was wondering if you’d like to hang out after class? I’m playing basketball today, maybe we can hang out.”

Elsa sighed. She’s blocked Radon’s number and the guys aren’t talking to her. Same time she just wanted to go back home.

“Thanks, Liam, I’d love to but can we do that later? Please.” Elsa bites her bottom lip and pouted at him.

“Sure. If that’s fine by you.”

Elsa smiled and nodded.

“Thanks.”

Elsa walked into the canteen to eat something. She walked to the counter and tell the waitress what she wanted. Her eyes meet with Olivia’s and as usual, she looks away.

When is this going to end? Elsa muttered

She collected her order and walk to their booth.

“Hey, guys.”

“Hi Elsa” Lucas replies with the greeting but Olivia didn’t.

“Guys I’m sorry. Look it’s gonna be fine if you guys don’t wanna talk to me ever again because I lied but I want you to forgive me because it wasn’t intentional. I couldn’t fathom what we had. I’m still new to everything, I didn’t know I’d go further when him after the way you saw him, Oli” Elsa sighed.

“That means you never trusted us.”

” I did, I just don’t trust myself. I planned to tell you guys but I wanted to be sure that I know what I’m doing. Please…”

“Elsa, it’s fine. We understand but we need to get through this. I can’t even picture myself doing that to someone I called a friend. We are not mad at you, we just need to get this over with.”

Elsa sighed and bite the inside of her cheek. ” Sure guys. I’m sorry.” She smile faintly at them and walked out of the restaurant.

Elsa breathed in and hail a cab to go home. She unlock the door since Mariana isn’t home and shut it. Elsa throws her bag on the single couch and walks to the kitchen to make coffee to drink.

She needs to get out tonight if she wants to sleep well. She’s crowded with guilt and she just wants to visit a party. Elsa gulped her coffee and walk back to her room. She brought out her notebook to finish her assignment.

Elsa slumps on her bed and shut her eyes. Hell no, can’t sleep. After several attempts of falling asleep, Elsa checked her phone and it was already nightfall. She just needed to go out, maybe to a club. Without thinking twice, Elsa rushed to the shower and take her bath.

She blows dry her hair and slips on a red strap dress. Elsa didn’t think she know what she was doing but she was not backing out. The more she stays here the more she thinks about the need to visit a therapist.

Elsa applied simple makeup and she know she look different and beautiful. She put on her shoes and grab her clutch before walking out of the room.

Elsa sit opposite the bartender and ordered cocktails. She needs to get drunk if that’s gonna numb all the aching pains inside of her. She rests her elbow on the counter and consumes the cocktail. Just two glasses and she felt already tipsy.

“Aren’t you gorgeous?” A voice speaks from beside her. Elsa turned to look at the new visitor and he was sitting on the next stool close to Elsa’s.

“Thanks.” Elsa smiled knowing full well she was getting drunk.

” It’s cute I found you here. I’m Martinez” He said and that seems to furrow Elsa’s brows on its own.

Marina’s high school ex.

” I’m sorry I’m not interested. I’m waiting for my boyfriend.” Elsa lay drinking her third glass of cocktail.

“So who’s the lucky fella ?” He asked and Elsa didn’t bother to reply.

Why would Marina break up with someone like him?. Honestly, he’s good-looking. To hell with the sister.” Elsa cursed.

“He’s coming.” She finally replied looking everywhere but him.

He Chuckles and leans closer.

“Dance with me?” He asked and smirks.

Elsa stared at his eyes and shake her head. She said and know she wanted to avoid Radon completely but she can’t flirt with someone else. It feels so inappropriate.

“Why does he make me feel different? Like he knows my buttons and when to press it.” Elsa breathed.
