Perhaps she’s sleeping
“Aiden don’t tell me that! Don’t tell me that ever again! I told you I’m tired of this, I’m tired of you treating me like am some pieces of trash.” Tihana yelled at him over and over again.
They have gotten home and throughout the ride home, Tihana couldn’t wait to take her frustration on Aiden.
Aiden sat and watched her pace up and down the living room.
“What exactly is your problem?” He was surprisingly calm with his question.
“My problem? Aiden you manipulated me! I don’t even know why I have been calm all this while and taking in all the insult you’ve given to me. You are the one in need here, You need me, I don’t need you!” She breathed and sat on the couch opposite Aiden.
“You’ve done absolutely nothing but cause me pain, and now.. because of your silly mistake, you got me pregnant!”
“Are you saying my child is a mistake? How dare you!” Aiden stood up and this time he was yelling at her, Tihana lost it and before one can say jack, Tihana’s palm were on his face… Slapping him unaware.
“Don’t you dare, I repeat, don’t you dare yell at me ever again!”
Aiden grab her by her throat almost immediately, never in his life had he allowed a woman to lay their hands on him and Tihana won’t be an expectation.
“Did you just hit me?”
“What’ll you do? Hit me back?! Go on Aiden, hit me! After putting me in so much pain you haven’t had enough?”
“Getting pregnant was the main part of the deal! That’s why I fuckin married you. Can’t you read?”Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
“I’m tired of this Aiden, please… Just let me go, I’ve had enough.”
“If I had wanted to let you go, well not anymore. You’re carrying my baby.” Aiden made to touch her stomach but Tihana was quick to slap his hand off, glaring at him.
Aiden let go of his hand on her neck and she gasp. “Well, I can’t let you go know. You can keep up with everything and leave once you put to bed, our contract will be over immediately you bore me the child.”
Tihana stared at this monster before her, it made her wonder how she have been putting up with all this his behavior and had never stood up for herself.
She felt mad at herself. When she heard the doctor said she was pregnant at that very last minute, she had wanted to yell and say alot of things but grandfather had interrupted that moment.
It wasn’t until now that Tihana realized she wasn’t ready to be a Mom. These are things she could’ve considered when she was signing that contract, But Aiden had been persistent and left her with no choice.
Laying on her bed, Tihana let the tears she was holding back to fall on her cheeks. To her, Aiden had ruined her life.
Never ever growing up had she thought that her life will be one this way. Even tho all this are just fake, the marriage, their love in public, expect for the baby… Tihana had hoped that Aiden will understand she has feelings too.
How’ll she have the mindset to carry this baby when she wasn’t ready? When she didn’t love the father? When she knows she’s going to wake up some day and everyone will be gone.
She’s going to put to bed some day and she’s going to leave her baby behind. Thinking about this, Tihana’s hand circled her tummy as she cries.
Her life wouldn’t have been this messed up if she hadn’t agree to go on that date. Just one particular date had ruined her life. It brought back so many memories to her. She was hurting and needed someone to talk to.
Diana had called her twice now, but she never answered. What was she gonna say?
“Diana I’m pregnant! I’m carrying the devil’s child.” How ridiculous will that be?
Things were getting out of control and Tihana was the one in pains. Maybe she hadn’t just realized how much she hated Aiden until her pregnancy was announced.
“Ma’am will you like to have anything?” The maid asked after standing in the room for minutes.
She’ve been asking the same question but Tihana hadn’t seen to notice or hear her.
“No. I’m fine.”. She muttered and stood up. While the maid bows and left the room, Tihana made her way into the bathroom.
All she wanted was a warm bath, to make her feel better at least. She wanted to soak herself inside the water. She could’ve gone for swimming, but she’s afraid of drowning.

“Are you still in the office?” Aiden asked Wayne through the phone as he entered his car.
“No boss, I left some minutes ago. Do you need me to do something urgent for you ?”
Aiden breathed.
“Nothing.” He disconnected the call and sigh.
Never had he expected Tihana to say all those words to him and it was almost as if she became a very different person immediately hearing of her pregnancy.
Aiden knew she had alot to say but had stopped when grandfather walked in. While they had rode home, Aiden had expected her to say more but she remained quiet until they were home before saying all she wanted to speak about.
He touched his cheek and swallowed, Tihana slapping him was something he had been trying to put his hand on… He had never in his wildest dream expected that from her.
Was it all the pregnancy?
Or this is her, revealing her true self?
His phone was ringing and he had allowed it to ring for the second time before he picked after seeing it was grandfather.
“How’s your wife?” That was the first question he asked.
Aiden breathed, things were kind of no longer going his way and he couldn’t believe he’s afraid of what next Tihana might do. Ofcourse he won’t dare to hit her back or cause her pain, she’s carrying his baby!
Somehow, that feeling of hearing he’s gonna be a father was overwhelming. Aiden hadn’t realized how badly he wants to be called dad until this day.
“Perhaps she’s sleeping.” He muttered.
“Oh great! Do take care of her. As you know, pregnant ladies tend to be more dramatic and annoying. Don’t hurt her so she can be able to give us what we want. A heir.”
“I get it.”
“Least I forgot. Your mum is back in town… She arrived two hours ago and said she couldn’t reach you, you should visit her. It’s been long.”
That made Aiden smile.. at least there’s someone to talk to. And so he disconnected the call and reversed the car, driving out of the compound.
