The Seductress

CHAPTER 1

Mrs grace walked out of the cemetry. An umbrella was over her head which was held by her personal guard, to prevent the drizzling rain from touching she walked towards an expensive car with the driver waiting readily at the door for her. it was opened when she got close to the door. She slipped into the warm expensive interior of the comfy car and the door was shut softly. She removed her recommended glasses and placed it on her laps. Her long jet black hair was shiny and tied into a bun. A single strand not out of place. The car glided smoothly into the dark streets leading to her mansion located in the suburbs of the city.

Today was a sad day for her. The day her twin daughters died In a plane crash which took place a year ago. Life could be cruel sometimes. Her husband Damian had left her months ago despite their previously ” crazy in love kind of life”. 45 years old mrs grace was sad and always dejected, she had very few friends, barely smiled. The richest and youngest woman in Miami, men greatly sought after her, she never had the time for that anyways. She sigh and rubbed the diamond ring on her finger. It wasn’t just any ring. It was her special ring, never left her finger ever since her mom had given it to her on the day of her wedding with Damian. She caressed it sadly, wishing she could have her happy life once again.

Suddenly…. her ring began to glint. A line of shiny silver light began to glint off from her ring, silver dusts falling off and fading away. She widen her eyes in shock. It only happened once in a lifetime. And it meant only one thing, she had found a pure breed, another lady, capable of bearing her enchanting powers.

“Stop here!” She told the driver and the car stopped immediately. The door was opened seconds later by her personal guard who was in another car and trailing behind. she stepped out and the umbrella was raised above her head again. She looked around the dark street. Her ring was pointing an arrow like silver light towards a direction. With the umbrella over head, Mrs grace walked towards where the light was pointing to. The light was only visible to her, no one else could see it. Her black heels made click-clark sounds as she walked towards the direction of the pointing light. It was leading her to a large refuse dump.

“Mrs grace?…” The guard called in concern, discomforted by the foul smell emanating from the waste site. She ignored his protests and continued walking closer to it. she stopped as she saw a shocking sight in front of her.

A beautiful lady, lying on the cold floor with her body battered up in bruises, clothes torn apart and bloodstains on her skirt. Her long hair was in disarray on her face, She looked as though she was dead. The rain had drenched her and her clothes stuck to her body. The silver light from the ring sparkled on the young lady for a while before gradually fading. Mrs grace placed a palm over her mouth in pity. Her guard looked at the sight in shock. How did she know there was a lady lying here?. They were faraway from the waste site. Well he knew Mrs grace well enough to know she ain’t just any woman. He knew there had always been something special about her

“Check if she still breathes” Mrs grace says and collects the umbrella from him. He reluctantly squats and place two fingers on the girl’s wet and bruised neck. He looked up at mrs grace.

“She’s breathing…. very faintly” He says and she sigh in relief. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

“Take her into the car” She tells him. The guard frowns but didn’t protest. No one goes against her orders. He’d just need to stay under the shower for hours to wash away the foul smell emanating from the lady. He carried her carefully in bridal style and they walked quickly back into the waiting car. She was placed at the backseat and mrs grace sat on the passenger seat. The driver frowned in disgust at the unconscious girl before he drove out smoothly into the night, while her guard returned to the second car and continued driving behind her car.

Mrs grace glanced back continuously at the lady. Although she looked like a walking corpse, she was extremely beautiful. Who did this cruel thing to such a beautiful lady! She felt a strong attraction towards the girl. One she had never felt the death of her twin daughters. Maybe it was because today was the day her daughters died.

The girl was almost dying…. and even the best hospital in the world won’t save her life. And Mrs grace wanted her to live. watching another girl die the day her daughters died would shatter her. She would do so…. save the extremely beautiful lady, even if it’s the last thing on earth she does. She leaned back into her seat as her mind drifted off to the happy memories she had with her daughters and husband.
