Chapter 117 - Girls day out

Olivia POV

I wake up to the most beautiful sight. Raphael asleep like a baby next to me with one of his arms falling

on top of my stomach and his legs tangled up with mine.

His hair messy and falling onto his eyes. He needs a hair cut.

I easily detangle myself from Raphael’s grip and I get up to get myself ready.

I am going for lunch with Anna and Maria are having a day off with Mike. That leaves me and my girl to

go do some girly stuff.

When I leave the bathroom I see Raphael still asleep without a t-shirt and with the sheet hanging

dangerously low on his waist.

I stop looking at him and I take a deep breath. To think of everything we’ve been through to end up like

this.

It is all worth it. I would go through everything again, no questions asked. Scott, my ex, the Russians,

the kidnap. Everything if it meant I would end up here again.

I get myself dressed and then I grab little Mel from her crib and I take her with me to her bedroom so I

can change her diaper and clothes.

She still sleeps on a next to me crib In our bedroom. After getting her ready I take her to the most

amazing armchair we have put in her room and I feed her bottle.

When everything is ready I put her on the car seat and I walk to the elevator to get a ride from

Raphael’s driver.

I have four bodyguards following me still. This is crazy. But I am not going to argue with Raphael about

it.

“Good morning “ - I say as I take a seat in the car and strap Mel’s car seat.

“Good morning Miss Black” - he says

“Still with the formalities?” - I say while I smile

“Sorry Miss, but Mr Lockwood would be really upset if I didn’t”

“Well Mr Lockwood is not here” - I say

“Where to?” - he asks me

“To my brother’s house please, we will pick up Anna and the babies will stay there with my brother

while we go out for lunch” - I say

“Lovely, poor guy with two babies” - he chuckles

“He deserves it” - I giggle.

The drive through New York is lovely, although the traffic is crazy I still love it. The people rushing

around, the tourists. Everything is beautiful here.

We arrive at my brothers flat and I walk up with Mel. I say goodbye kissing her in the head and leaving

two of the bodyguards with them I and Anna walk out towards the SUV.

“Day drinking it is” - she says when we both step inside and strap our seat belts.

“So, how are you feeling?” - she asks me with worry in her eyes.

“I am okay, I am tired but I love it” - I say

“How about Alex?” - she asks me

“Oh, that one, I haven’t seen her since the plane. I hope she keeps her distance”

“If she doesn’t I’ll show her the American way” - Anna says and we both giggle.

“We’re here” - the driver says and we both get out of the SUV and walk into one of Raphael’s

restaurants.

“Miss Black, welcome back” - the hostess says while she smiles

“Hello, can we please have a table in the back?” - I ask her trying to get away from the paparazzi.

“Sure, this way” - she says leading the way to a table at the back of the restaurant. This table is hidden

but well illuminated.

“This is perfect “ - I say while I take a seat and grab the menu being offered to me by the hostess

“Enjoy your meal” - she says and leaves.

“Cocktails?” - I ask Anna

“Hell yes” - she says and we both look a the drinks list.

“Good afternoon ladies” - the waiter says as he approaches us - “My name is John and I will be your

waiter today, can I get you any drinks?” - he asks looking at us with a smile on his face.

“I’ll have a cosmopolitan” - Anna says

“Manhattan for me please” - I say - “And can we have some sparkling water please?”

“Of course, will be right up” - he says walking away with our drinks order.

“I don’t know what to have” - Anna says and I smile knowing exactly what I will have.

“I am having the chicken carbonara al Forno” - I say

“That sounds good” - Anna looks at the menu

Our drinks arrive and we give our food order. We keep talking until our food arrives and we dig in. I am

enjoying this so much.

“We should do this once a week” - I tell her

“I agree, let’s make it happen” - Anna smiles

Lunch goes well. He has been treated like queens. When we finish we decide it stills early to go back

home so we get some manicure and hair done. It’s been a while since I’ve last done this.

So relaxing but at the same time, I am missing Mel and Mike. It’s torture. When I’m with them all I want

to do is run away and hide and when I’m away I want to be with them. Can’t win.

Once we finish the driver takes us back to Anna’s flat and my brother is sitting on the sofa while the two

big bad bodyguards are sitting on the floor playing with the babies.

Unbelievable.

I laugh to myself and I get Mel ready to go home.

In the car, everyone goes quiet as Mel falls asleep straight away. The perks of a car ride. Babies fall

I rest my head on the window and I drift off to sleep as well.

I don’t know how long it’s been but I wake up to one of the bodyguards calling me.

“Olivia we’re home” - he says and I look around and I am still sitting in the car while another one is

carrying Mel's car seat.

I get into the elevator and when we reach the penthouse and I walk in I find Gabe playing in the living

room with his cars.

“Who brought him here?” - I ask the security

“Alex is in the bathroom” - he says and I take a deep breath.

“Take Mel and Gabe to Maria’s flat please” - I say and one of the security guards does as I say.

I sit on the sofa after hugging Gabe and I wait for fucking Alex to come out.

Not long after she appears and her eyes meet mine.

I stand up and she walks to me with her head held high. She’s up to something.

“What are you doing here?” - I ask her crossing my arms on top of my chest

“Take a chill pill, I just came to drop Gabe” - she says and that’s when I see the marks for a hand

around her neck.

I feel my stomach-turning.

“Who did that to you?” - I ask pointing at her neck

“This was a souvenir from your boyfriend” - she says with a grin on her face.

“You’re lying “ - I let out feeling all the air being taken away from me

“Oh, I went to pay him a visit and he knows I like it rough” - she says

“You bitch” - I say slapping her face

Her eyes meet mine and her hand scoops the side of the face that my hand met her skin. It felt good.

Felt really good.

“You will regret this” - she says taking one step closer to me. I don't even flinch. I stay where I am.

“You are a liar. I know Raphael wouldn’t touch you, even if you were the last woman on earth”

“Are you sure about that?” - she says while she flashes me a smile and walks out of the penthouse with

her heels clicking as she goes.

That bitch. I know Raphael didn’t do that. He can’t. He wouldn’t do that to me.

Today I’m going to the hospital to have a small surgery. As I explained before I will stay a few days

without updating. I am sorry.
