Chapter 121 - The big Mistake

Raphael POV

“You have a big day tomorrow “ - I say and Olivia smiles nodding her head.

We both drift off to sleep not long after. We were both tired and everything that happened with Alex was

messing with my head.

When I wake up I blink my eyes a couple of times to adjust to the light coming from the window.

I look at the time and it’s only 7:30 Am. Olivia is already sitting in her vanity chair getting her to make

up done.

“Good morning” - I say rolling to my side to look at her

“Good morning” - she replies looking at me through the mirror.

“Excited for today?” - I ask her.

Stupid question of course she is. This is a dream come true.

“I am” - she replies while she puts on mascara.

“What time are they coming around?” - I ask her

“Around ten, but I still need to take Mel, Gabe and Mike to Maria’s house” - she says

“I’ll take them” - I say while I get out of bed and walk into the bathroom.

“Thank you” - she says and I turn the shower on.

This is exactly what I need a hot shower. When the water touches my skin I can feel my body relaxing. I

take a deep breath.

Once I finish I wrap a towel on my waist and brush my teeth. I walk to the dressing room and Olivia

smiles waking to me.

“This towel is dangerously low” - she says touching it.

“Maybe make it drop?” - she says wrapping her arms around my neck.

“Daddy, daddy” - I hear Gane calling as he walks into the bedroom and Olivia’s arms fall from my

shoulders and she takes one step back.

“Hey buddy” - I say when he walks in

“Hello Gabe” - Olivia says and he gives her a right cuddle when she kneels in front of him

“Go play in your room and I’ll go pick you up for breakfast in a minute” - I tell him and he smiles walking

to his bedroom.

“So much for privacy” - Olivia says and I smile.

I get myself dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and a grey T-shirt with my leather jacket.

“Where are you going? It’s Saturday “ - Olivia says

“I have some business to attend to with Joseph” - I tell her and she nods her head not asking anything

else. But first I will go deal with Alex.

“What are you going to do about Alex?” - Olivia asks and I look at her in disbelief. Is she fucking

reading my mind now?

“Don’t look so surprised, I know you are going to see her” - she says and I pass my hands through my

hair.

“First I need to know why no security alerted the fact she left Gabe alone, then I need to know where

she went and who with to decide what I will do next”

“Are you getting Gabe’s custody?”

“I will talk to my lawyer today. Yes. He’s not going anywhere”

“Good” - Olivia says while she brushes her hair into a ponytail.

I walk to Olivia and kiss her softly on the lips before I leave the bedroom.

As I walk to Gabe’s room I can hear him playing with his toys and I smile.

He looks so much like me. It’s amazing.

I open the door and he is sitting on the floor with his car toys.

“Hungry?” - I ask and he nods his head getting up and walking to me.

I pick him up and walk to the kitchen sitting him on his high chair.

I grab the cereals and pour it in a bowl and put the milk on giving it to him.

He makes a mess while he is eating but it’s okay. I don’t mind it.

Mike is still asleep. The camera in his room has several monitors around the house the same as Mel’s.

They both sleep so peacefully.

When Gabe finishes his breakfast I take him to his room to give him a quick shower and change his

clothes while Olivia is feeding Mel. Mike is still asleep. He loves his sleep.

After getting Gabe ready I have to wake up Mike. I know we should never wake up a sleeping baby but

I need to get him ready.

Olivia is now playing with Gabe and Mel while I feed Mike his breakfast and change his clothes.

Once the three kids are ready I take them to Maria’s house and she is so happy to have them all. She

is a life saviour.

I walk back home to tell Olivia I am leaving and I find her sitting in the living room talking to some

people.

“Hello” - I say as I walk in

“Mr Lockwood” - a tall blonde woman says offering me her hand to shake.

I shake all of their hands and make my way out to see Alex.

The walk to her flat feels longer than it is.

Once I reach the door the two guards nod their heads at me.

“Where were you last night?” - I ask and they both look at each other.

“Boss” - one of them starts and then the other continues - “my wife had an accident and I had to leave”

“And where we’re you?” - I ask

“I went to get some coffee”

“You idiots” - I say walking past them. Joseph will handle them.

I message Joseph their names and the replacements.

Alex is sitting in the living room with a glass in her hand.

“Come to laugh?” - she says looking at me

“Are you drunk?” - I ask her while I get closer and I can smell the alcohol

“What if I am?” - she says

“Where were you last night?” - I ask straight to the point

“Why do you care?” - she asks standing up and failing at it falling on her ass

I walk to her and lift her

“Where the fuck were you last night?” - I ask again now holding her arm tightening my grip.

“I was out on a date” - she says and I shake my head

“And you leave our son alone so you can go get fucked?” - I ask her in anger

“I didn’t fuck him, but I should’ve” - she says and I shake her

“What the fuck were you thinking of leaving Gabe alone?” - I shout at her

“I wasn’t” - she says and I let go of her when she starts crying.

“When will I see him?” - she asks and I shake my head

“Go have a shower and sober up and then we will talk” - I say and Alex walks to me and slaps my face.

Big mistake. Really big mistake.
