Chapter 54 - Girl talk

Olívia POV

I leave the office with Joseph. He looks at me giving me some reassurance. He knows I am scared. I

haven’t dealt with a frightening situation like this since the kidnapping.

We walk down the corridor into a big entertainment room. Onlookers around and they are covered with

massive sofas, blankets, and there’s a games station. From Xbox to Wii, to Nintendo and PlayStation. I

smile and Joseph looks at me.

“What?” - he asks looking at the smirk on my face

“Big bad mafia boys like to play?” - I ask

“Oh yeah, we have big competitions going on. We all need the distraction sometimes”

“Does Raphael play?”

“Not a lot, but when he does, he spends hours”

“I see” - I smile with the thought of him being young and carefree. Something I’ve never seen before NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

“My wife will come and meet you in about 10 min”

“Oh, okay, I didn’t know you were married”

“Did you think that we were all eternal bachelors like Raphael?” - he asks and my smile falls

“Kinda” - I reply

“Most of us are married with families”

“Do you have kids?”

I started to daydream there and then. I wish I could have all of that with Raphael. But I know deep

down it will never happen. I fucked up big time when I told him to leave. And I know he hasn’t forgiven

me completely. I wouldn’t either.

“Hello” - I hear a women’s voice behind us.

“Hi, my love” - I see Joseph turning around and planting a kiss on her lips while her arms pull him

closer by the collar of his shirt.

“This is Olivia, the boss would like you to keep her company while we sort out some stuff”

“No problem” - she says smiling at me. I can see she is genuine. And that’s when I see another woman

coming in and hugging Joseph’s wife.

“Hello, sorry I am late” - she says and I nod my head.

“Olivia this is our girlfriend “ - I know my face says it all, I try and understand what just happened.

“Girlfriend?” - I ask

“Petra will explain everything to you” - he says taking his leave and both the girls grab my hands and

pull me to the big comfortable sofa.

“I’m Petra the wife, and this is Camila, our girlfriend “

“ I am sorry I didn’t mean to sound condescending or rude”

“It’s the normal reaction love”

“See they needed me in their marriage to keep them faithful to each other. We love one another And

that’s the most important thing” - Camila says

I nod my head in acceptance.

We talk about their relationship and I am fascinated. I don’t know how Petra can share her husband,

but then again, Joseph is sharing his wife as well. From what I understood Camila is there to pleasure

them both. And them to her. There’s no preference, no jealousy, they are all equals on that relationship.

They started to focus on me when we finished discussing their relationship.

“So, Raphael, how is he in the sack?”

I chocked on my air. I wasn’t expecting them to be so direct about him.

“He is great” - I let out

“I’ve heard he is a beast” - Camila says and Petra nods in agreement.

“Do you know anyone that he’s been with?” - I ask while I look at my nails trying not to look too

interested but I am dying to know.

“Hell yes” - they both say and I look up at them chewing the inside of my lip so they don’t see how

anxious I am getting.

“Raphael is a player” - Camila says

“Was a player” - Petra rephrased

“Yeah, was” - Camila corrects herself

“Was?” - I ask with hope in my voice

“Since he met you, the men had been a saint. Well not really a saint as he fucked a few girls along the

way, mostly to distract himself from going after you, but he’s not a womaniser like he was, and we

haven’t seen the line of women leaving his penthouse every day “ - Camila says while Petra chuckles

and I don’t know what to think.

“He told me he slept with someone on that period that we stopped seeing each other “ - I say and I look

at them and I can see something on their faces. They know more than they are letting out.

“Let’s change the subject “ - Petra says and Camila nods.

We kept the conversation light and most of the time they were trying to make me laugh, it was nice to

talk to a girl again. I miss Anna but o don’t know if I am capable of letting go of what she’s done.

I know my family all approved of her but I still can’t let go of the fact that she betrayed me with my

brother. She could’ve told me from the beginning. But she decided it was better to hide it.

I decided to tell the girls about my dilemma with Anna and my brother.

Both of them thought I should let go, forgive and forget. At the end of the day they are happy, Anna is

making him happy again and I should be glad for my brother, although they do understand my side.

They understand how my brothers were supposed to be out to reach and she broke my trust without

even talking to me.

After a long conversation, I decided that I am calling her today.

I don’t know how but I feel someone looking at me, so I turn around to see Raphael supporting his body

against the door frame, he is looking sexy. That man is sex on legs. I smile at him and he walks to us.

“Ladies, thank you for keeping Olivia company but I would like to have a word with her”

“Sure” - they both said with giggles while they stand up to leave the room.

“Don’t do anything we wouldn’t “ - Petra says while she closes the door.

“So, did you have fun?”

“They are lovely, I needed some girl talk, thanks”

“Anything for you” - Raphael says and I feel my heart skip a beat.

“Where were we?” - he says giving me his hand so I can stand up. I grab his hand and lift myself from

the comfort of the sofa and I hug him tight.

“Are you okay?” - I ask him

“Why wouldn’t I be?”

“The Russian guy, what did he want?”

“That’s a conversation for another time”

“Raphael, I need to know “

“And you will know, just not now”

“Raphael”

“Olivia, I’m trying to kiss you here” - he says with a serious face and I smile. My body melts against

him.

Raphael places both his hands in the back of my neck and pulls me to him. The kiss is soft but

demanding. I allow my arms to rest on his hips. Bringing him closer to me. While I get my body closet

to him and I can hear him growl.

“Don’t start something you can’t finish” - he says

“You are still recovering “ - I say looking up into his eyes

“Bullshit” - he says pulling me closer to him by my hips so I can feel his now hard cock on my stomach.

“Raphael, someone might come in”

“They won’t”

“The door is not locked” - and when I say that someone knocks on the door

“This better be important “ - Raphael says

Michael’s head peeps from the now open door

“Sorry Boss but we need you on the surveillance room”

“What’s happening?”

“Come” - he says giving me his hand and we walk out towards a room full of screens. This looks like a

room you only see in important museums. A room full of screens and computers and images of every

room of the compound. There are outside cameras and there’s one that is moving. I assume someone

is wearing a camera while walking.

“Turn the sound on”

“Sure boss”

My face falls when I see Lucas’s face on the screen. He is bruised and he lost a lot of weight. My heart

starts to beat faster and I take one step back looking at the screen with wide eyes.

“Hey, he won’t hurt you ever again” - Raphael says and I still can’t move.

“Olivia look at me”

I stay still looking at Lucas’s image and my hands go tight into fists and I start to shake. I haven’t seen

him since Raphael got shot. I thought I would never see him again.

“Olivia” - Raphael says while he moves in front of me blocking me from looking at Lucas’s face. I turn

my eyes up to look at him and I see his eyes, he is worried and I let out a breath I didn’t know I was

holding and with that, I start to cry.

My body is shaking and Raphael hugs me tight while he caresses my hair trying to soothe me.

“I am sorry love”

“He will never touch you again”

“He will never lay eyes onto again” - Raphael kept saying while I cried against him.
