Chapter 71 - Going back home

Olivia POV

It’s been three days since I found out about Tammy. I can’t believe it myself. What is Raphael thinking?

Does he know? I bet he knows now.

Anna has been taking care of me a while should be the other way around. She is almost having her

baby and I am being a burden to her.

I look around and no-one is home, I know they had a doctor appointment today. I walk to the kitchen to

make some coffee. Decaf coffee. When I finished I took a sip and walked to the living room. I took a

seat on the sofa and turned the tv on. E! channel it is, if there’s any news from Raphael this will be the

first place to talk about him.

A lot of news from celebs were talked about and nothing from Raphael. I took a deep breath and

decided it was time to let him explain. To let him come back to me and our baby.

I walk to the guest bedroom and grab my phone that was charging. I turn it on and I am hit by more

than twenty text messages and a full voice mail.

Taking a deep breath I decide to listen to the voice messages.

“Olivia where the fuck are you?”

“Olivia please answer the phone”

“Olivia this is not fucking funny, answer the phone”

“Olivia where are you?”

“Olivia baby, please answer the phone”

“Olivia I love you baby”

My heart skips a beat hearing his voice. This messages repeated themselves over and over again. I

deleted them all and when I finish my last one my phone rings. It’s Raphael.

“Hello” - I say answering it

“Thank fuck, where are you?” - he asks

“I am safe” - I say

“Olivia baby, we need to talk”

“I know” - I say

“Tell me where you are and I will meet you”

“You know where I am because by now you already tracked my phone”

“I am on my way baby, don’t move” - he says and I can feel tears burning my eyes.

“Olivia?”

“Yes?”

“I love you” - he says hanging up the phone.

I take a deep breath and walk towards the mirror. I look sick. The morning sickness is taking over my

life, why do they call morning sickness if happens all day every day?

I look pale, I pass my fingers through my hair and I tie it in a messy bun.

I am wearing some of Anna’s yoga clothes. I don’t know how I am going to feel seeing Raphael, but I

need to do this. We need to sort it out.

I walked back to the kitchen and made some toast. While I was taking the first bite I hear the doorbell.

I look at the little television and I see Raphael, he is wearing a brown leather jacket, his hair is messy

and he has his sunglasses.

“Come in” - I say opening the door of the building.

Not long after he was knocking at the door.

I take a deep breath and I open the door to be met with a very angry Raphael. His eyes are dark and

he has bags under his eyes, he looks like he aged a few years. His beard is bigger.

Raphael wraps his arms around me tight. So tight that I am struggling to breathe.

“I need to breath” - I tell him and he looks at me relaxing his arms around me.

“Come in” - I say while he steps inside and I close the door.

I walk towards the sofa and I sit. Raphael starts pacing around looking at me.

“Are you going to say something?” - shit I haven’t thought of anything. My brain went to mush as I see

how worried he looked.

Raphael walks towards me and kneels in front of me.

“Olivia, talk to me baby”

“She’s having your baby” - I say

“Yes” - he says

“Are you staying with her?” - I ask him

“No”

“What does she want?”

“Me”

I look up into his eyes and I can feel tears falling from my eyes. He didn’t hide it at least.

“I am having a DNA test done this week” - he says

“And then what?”

“She said I had to choose between you or the baby” - he says raping his arms around my waist and

lowering his head on my legs - “but I am not leaving you”

“You can’t let her harm the baby Raph”

“I’ll figure something out” - he says

I plant a kiss on the top of his head and he looks up at me. His eyes are full of hope.

“Did you ever cheat on me?” - I ask him.

“Olivia”

“I need to know” - I tell him.

“I’ve had sex with someone when I was trying to get you, but not when we were officially together”

Those words opened another wound in my heart but at least he is being honest. We weren’t officially

together.

“I am sorry” - he says

I smile looking at him.

“It’s fine” - I say

“Come home please” - he says and I shake my head.

“I need some space to think”

“Are you leaving me?” - he asks

“Never” - I say placing both my hands on his face and taking His lips for a soft kiss.

“Why are you doing this then?”

“I just need to think Raph”

“You can think in the penthouse, I’ll move to the guest room if you want but please come home”

“Raph” - he cuts me off

“Olivia, I know that if you don’t come with me you will realise how much better your life without me can

be and I can’t take that, I can’t let you leave, I need you, I might not show you, I might not say it and I

definitely won’t show to the rest of the world but you are the most important thing in my life”

“I am not leaving you”

“Than please come home”

“Okay” - I say hugging him right. Raphael stands up picking me up and I wrap my legs around his

waist.

“Let’s get you home” - he says and I smile into his shoulder while I rest my head taking in his amazing

scent.

“Can we wait for them to get home so I can say goodbye?”

“Sure” - Raphael says putting me back down. I walk to the guest room to grab my clothes. When I

come out I see Raphael on the phone and he looks stressed.

“I told you I will only decide after the DNA test”

“Tammy, calm the fuck down”

“If you keep going like this you will end up hurting the baby and then the deal is off”

“Fine”

Raphael hangs up the phone and looks at me.

“What happened?” - I ask

“Paparazzi followed me here and she knows I am here with you”

“What is she going to do?”

“She wants me to break up with you”

“Raph, it’s the safety of that baby”

“I am not doing it”

“Raph, I love you but you need to protect that baby, she is unbalanced “

“I need to protect you and our baby too”

“I am safe”

Raphael takes a deep breath while he allows his body to crash and sit on the sofa. His head falls and

his hands pass through his messy hair. I walk to him and I kneel in front of him.

“We can trick her” - I say

“How?” - he asks looking deep into my eyes and I want to get lost on his beautiful sky blue eyes.

“We can pretend to break up, publicly, I’ll move back to Brooklyn to look real, and you stay with her until

the baby is born and then you fight legally for the custody of the baby, you prove how unbalanced she

is and then we can be together”

“You want to raise this baby with me?” - he asks

“If that’s what is needed for that baby to be safe, I’ll do it and I know Maria will help, hurler grandchild

after all”

“It’s a boy” - he says and I smile at him.

It’s only a few months

“I don’t want to miss your pregnancy” - I will send you photos and videos every day. We can video call

“No” - he says - “I can’t be away from you, what if you need me?”

“If anything happens all bets are off and I will call you and we will end all of it”

“We can have a couple more days first”

“Yea, we can’t just break up now, she will know something is wrong”

“Are you coming home with me?”

“Yea, but after the DNA test comes out we will break up publicly and you will go to her”

“Okay, now, can we go home please?”

“They should be getting back soon”

“Okay” - he says hugging me and sitting me on the sofa next to him. We turn the tv on and we wait for

them to get home.

Anna and my brother come back and they are quite shocked to ding Raphael sitting next to me, but I

explain that everything is okay and we explain our plan. They think it will work but no-one else can

know about it. We agree.

We stay over for dinner and then we go back home. Raphael gets the bath ready for me with my

favourite bubbles and candles.
