As he drove away from Hill Crest Hospital, Felix and Matt arrived at the hospital director's office.

"Director Arison," Matt spoke as soon as he sat down on the couch. "Last time, you said we could come to you if we need your help. Also, you promised to cooperate with us, yes?"

James nodded with a serious face. "That's correct, but only once."

"Once is enough." Matt revealed a sinister smile. "This time, we will make Alice Kramer bow down before me."

But James remained expressionless. "What do you plan to do?"

He didn't care about Alice's life.

What he cared about was resolving this matter as soon as possible.

Otherwise, if his family found out they were being threatened because of him, it would be difficult for him to return to Seavale.

"Well, Director Arison," Matt said, "We can't openly harm Alice for the sake of my grandmother, so we came up with a plan that can both deal with Alice and clear our names."

James frowned. "I don't care what you plan to do. Just tell me how I can cooperate."

He looked down on Matt and Felix and just wanted to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

"Your task is simple." Matt smirked.

"You just need to have Alice treat a patient. Then, find a male corpse in the morgue who is around forty years old and convince the family to cremate him today."

Upon hearing that, James was intrigued. "Just these two things?"

"That's correct!" Matt nodded.

"As long as you do those two things, I am confident that I can crush Alice and make Nicholson beg me for mercy!"

James leaned back in his chair with his fingers intertwined and a pensive look on his face.

He was contemplating whether these two seemingly simple matters would bring any negative consequences to himself.

After all, it involved a dead man, and he was worried about being implicated.

By then, though his family's problems would be solved, it was at the expense of himself.

Noticing James' hesitation, Felix smiled and assured him, "Director Arison, it seems you might have some concerns. Why don't I tell you our entire plan? You will know that you won't bear any risks after hearing my entire plan."

Raising his head, James glanced at Felix without saying anything.

Felix knew James was giving him permission to continue, so he slowly began, "We found a homeless man and convinced him to cooperate with us in staging a play. You do know that a homeless man in his forties would neither have the ability to turn his life around nor have completely lost hope. So, I spent thirty thousand to arrange for him to do anything."

"A homeless man?" James' heart skipped a beat. "You guys wouldn't... be planning to have that homeless man assault Dr. Kramer, would you?"

"Hahaha. Of course not. We wouldn't stoop so low." Felix laughed and continued, "Mr. Timothy bought a fake death pill at a high price from the black market. Once swallowed, it will put a man in a state of fake death within five minutes. His breathing and heartbeat will become extremely weak, and unless detected with the most advanced equipment, it is impossible to tell that the person is still alive."
