I have a great urge to drink today!" said Peter, giggling. "Life is all about eating, drinking, and having fun! Who cares what time it is? We should drink our life away!"

"Liquor has made you senseless!" Jonah scolded angrily, standing up and leaving. Seeing how his younger son behaved, he became even more desperate to locate Kendall.

Though the latter inherited his ruthless personality, he was uncompromising in his work, which was what Jonah appreciated.

Jonah couldn't help but worry about what would happen to the Lawson Family if it were handed over to someone hedonistic like Peter.

The next morning, Jonah arrived at the Holdaway Golf Estate as scheduled.

Guided by the staff, he went directly to the dedicated reception room.

Waiting for him there was Albert.

"Master Lawson, greetings!" Albert warmly approached and introduced himself, "I am Albert Radcliff, Cole Gang's number one strategist."

"Your name precedes you, Mr. Radcliff." Jonah returned a smile and glanced around, asking, "Where is Mr. Cole?"

"Mr. Cole is having a conversation with Mr. Timothy," Albert replied. "You may not know this, but Holdaway Golf Estate belongs to Mr. Timothy. He and Mr. Cole are good friends."

I see." Jonah nodded. "This is my first time at the golf estate. I didn't expect Cleapolis to have such a low-key wealthy figure like Mr. Timothy."

However, the fact was that Jonah was acquainted with John. Seventeen years ago, it was John who sought him and others, including Felix, to collaborate in the assassination of Xavier. That said, this fact must remain an absolute secret as John had warned them repeatedly that if anyone dared to leak information, they would face extermination from higher-ups.

Jonah had long sensed that the events of seventeen years ago were far more complex than they seemed. The 'higher-ups' mentioned by John must be influential figures beyond imagination because, at that time, Xavier's 24 conglomerates were systematically undermined from within and completely dismantled. If nicely put, Jarett was the underground overlord of Solaris Province, but in less polite terms, he was nothing more than a ruffian.

And he thinks he's really some big shot! It's already agreed that we would meet at 9 a.m., but he wants me to wait for him!

However, as displeased as Jonah was, he dared not leave just like that. Leaving aside the fact that he needed Jarett to locate Kendall, just for the sake of Lawson Group, he had to swallow his pride.

Lawson Group's ability to rank in the top ten in Cleapolis was largely due to the Lawsons' connections with both legal and underworld forces.

With people like him, you have to be even more cautious!"
