pharmacologist I hired. We usually have a good relationship, but I rarely inquire about his personal life.
And regarding your claim that I am working together with him, I’m afraid I don’t understand what you
mean.”
“It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand. I have ordered a thorough investigation of your
pharmaceutical company. Regardless of your innocence, the result will be revealed soon.”
John, who was monitoring Charlie, immediately reported this update to the shareholders.
The shareholders urgently asked the pharmaceutical company to destroy Jeffrey’s research
completely.
They were not worried about pharmaceutical companies being investigated, but they didn’t want
Charlie to get in trouble.
When Aiden’s subordinates took Charlie for questioning, Cecilia returned to the laboratory with the
