When the girl let out a cry, Cecilia had already pulled Yvette
away.
As the girl took a hard fall, the red wine in her hand splashed onto the pristine marble floor.
However, she couldn’t care less about the pain and hurriedly apologized, saying, “I didn’t do it on
purpose. I’m sorry.”
Someone had just tripped her, but she did not have any proof and did not know who it was, so she did
not dare to speak up.

Cecilia had previously investigated Christopher and had a general understanding of the situation with

With that said, she had a housekeeper bring a glass of red wine. and, without saying anything,
splashed it directly onto Tiffany Forte’s face.
Tiffany hadn’t expected Cecilia to take such direct action and was caught off guard.
The red wine splashed into her eyes, causing a burning sensation and igniting her temper instantly.
“Cecilia, are you out of your mind? You think you can act without manners just because you are from
the countryside?”
Tiffany would not have been so subtle in her rebuke if she did not need to maintain her socialite image.
The sudden turn of events drew the attention of everyone in the living room.
Yvette’s mother, Selene Yates, hurried over and asked, “What’s going on here?”.
After saying that, she asked a housekeeper to take Tiffany somewhere else so she could wash up and
put on clean clothes.
A guest should be treated with respect. Even though Selene disliked Tiffany, she could not simply
ignore her.
However, Tiffany refused to leave and complained, “Mrs. Yates, Cecilia splashed wine on me for no
reason. I need an explanation. The Forte family is not to be tritled with.”

Her tone made it abundantly clear that she was siding with Cecilia.
Cecilia handed the empty wine glass to a housekeeper and calmly explained, “Ms. Forte deliberately
tripped someone and wanted to splash red wine on me. I was merely returning the favor.”
Tiffany quickly denied, “You are making baseless accusations!”
She had been discreet in her actions and had even avoided the surveillance cameras. Even if someone
suspected her, there was no evidence.
At that moment, Cecilia’s gaze fell on Tiffany’s shoes.

Everyone in the room stared at Cecilia, their gazes following her every movement.

“We will know when you approach her after we check the surveillance footage,” Cecilia said coldly.
Tiffany had ill intentions, but she was not very clever. Unable to come up with an excuse, she
immediately panicked.
“I-I don’t know what happened.”
Cecilia was not an unreasonable person. After telling everyone the truth, she said, “Well, I will pretend
you did not know. But, whether it was intentional or not, you must apologize.”
Tiffany bit her lip and reluctantly said to Cecilia, “I’m sorry.”

Aggrieved, Tiffany shot a hostile glare at the girl.

After Selene left, many people approached Cecilia to show their support.

a few words with them, she found a quiet corner to sit in.
Yvette had originally stayed with her, but as more and more guests arrived, she had to go entertain
them.
Finally finding an opportunity, Devon walked over and sat opposite Cecilia.
“Ms. Yancey, it must be boring to be alone. Let me keep you company.”
