The Unwilling CEO’s Love Game

Chapter 53

Chapter 53

After coming to her senses, Jocelyn was sprawled all over him, panting for breath.

Melvin’s hand caressed her back, planting occasional kisses on her shoulder, “What did you want to say just now?”

“Huh?”

“You called out for me. Didn’t you want to say something?”

Jocelyn didn’t lift her head. She wanted to say that she loved him.

The two of them were quite something. No matter how engrossed or passionate they were, they never dropped the “L–bomb.”

Every time they got it on, it was serious business. They were totally immersed in feeling each other’s body heat, chatting too, but it was all about whether it felt good or what they craved.

Pillow talk was about the comfort of positions and the intensity, never really about the heart.

“I wanted to say, I love you.” Jocelyn felt like those words were stuck in her throat, she couldn’t find peace.

Melvin looked up at her, “You want more?”

Jocelyn let out a long, deep sigh. She wasn’t too bummed out; it was all expected.

“Tired, wanna sleep.” She rolled off him.

Melvin sat up, lit a cigarette, and seeing her back turned to him, he said, “Drive me tomorrow.”

“My driving sucks. Maybe you should get Zephyr to take you.” She really doubted her driving skills, afraid she couldn’t get him to his destination on time.

“Get up early, and drive slow.” Melvin was dead set on her taking him.

Jocelyn lazily retorted, “Don’t wanna.”

Melvin took a fierce drag. “I’ve put my life in your hands, and you don’t want it?”

Who asked for his life anyway?

It would be a real hoot if he had the guts to say that when it actually came down to life or death.

Bright and early the next day, Melvin woke Jocelyn up.

“What time is it?” Jocelyn, still groggy, could barely open her eyes.

Melvin’s hand was stirring under the covers, “Seven o’clock.”

“Stop it, I need to sleep some more.” Jocelyn tried to stop his hand.

“No more sleep.” Melvin whispered in her ear, his breath warm, “I won’t be back for a week.”

Jocelyn turned her head away, annoyed, “Mhm.”

“I’m afraid you’ll miss me.” Melvin wasn’t stopping anytime soon; he was already on top of her, kissing her lips, “One last time. Give it to me.”

He was straightforward, not taking no for an answer, and just took her.

Jocelyn’s hand clawed at his back fiercely, her throat let out an unprepared cry.

Whether it was the rush or the thrill, it was over in just a matter of minutes for Melvin.

Jocelyn’s sleepiness was totally disrupted, and she suddenly bit down hard on his shoulder,

Trying to leave a mark on me?” He asked in a husky voice.

Jocelyn tugged at the flesh on his shoulder, her eyes filled with resentment, “Were you trying to kill me with that rough ride?

Melvin lifted the covers to check, and Jocelyn, embarrassed, quickly pulled them back over, “What are you doing?”

*Just checking.

Jocelyn was speechless.

How could he be so shameless?

Melvin asked seriously, “Does it hurt?”

“What do you think?” Jocelyn glared at him.

“It’s supposed to hurt.”

Jocelyn knew he wasn’t the tender type, but this heartless comment was a first.

Yet Melvin seemed quite pleased with himself, “It’s my keepsake for you.”

Jocelyn, irritated, reached out to grab him, but Melvin was quick, hopping out of bed, “If you’d caught my dick just now, I’d be done for, and your fun times would be over.”

“My fun isn’t only from you.” Jocelyn really wanted to throttle this man, see if he would still be so insensitive.

Melvin narrowed his eyes, One carrot for one hole; I’ve claimed yours, others won’t fit.”

“Shameless!” Jocelyn didn’t want to banter with him; she just pulled the covers over her head.

“About time to get up. Melvin said, “Have some breakfast, then it’s off to the airport.”

Jocelyn’s muffled voice came from under the covers, “Whoever loves you can drive you.

Jocelyn, driving a car worth millions, was nervously making her way to the airport parking lot, managing to arrive without a hitch..

Just as they parked, Melvin unbuckled his seat belt, “Practice some more, and you’ll be fine.”

Jocelyn got out, slammed the car door, and handed him the keys.

“What are these for?”

“For you to drive when you get back.

“Parking here costs seventy or eighty for a day. Do you think it’s free?” Melvin said, “Drive it back yourself. Just don’t hit anyone.

As soon as they spotted them, the two hurried over, the woman greeting them, “Hi, we’re doing a street interview about farewells and reunions at the airport. Got two minutes to spare?”

Jocelyn was indifferent; she even felt like taking part in the interview.

Glancing at Melvin, he just pulled Jocelyn behind him, stone–faced, ‘Not available.” He led Jocelyn towards the elevator, and seeing the two trying

In the elevator, Jocelyn glanced at the man’s sour face, Are you camera shy or just don’t want to be seen with me?”

“What’s there to film about this stuff?” Melvin had already let go of her hand, his eyes icy.

Jocelyn looked down at her toes, “Willow is the face of the jewelry brand, you’re the boss, and you’ll have to be in the same frame eventually. Can you avoid it then?

Melvin gave her a glance, “Don’t make me leave angry

At those words, Jocelyn’s heart sank

She admitted she was picking a fight on purpose, but she couldn’t help thinking that way.

“Fine. Jocelyn had nothing more to say.

Melvin frowned, “Don’t make a scene

“I’m not.” Jocelyn clasped her hands behind her back, lifted her face, raised her eyebrows, and smiled at him, “I’m perfectly calm.”

Melvin wasn’t fooled, he eyed her, “Stop smiling, it’s hideous

Jocelyn looked at him, a playful smile tugging at her lips, “Did you just, like, ask me to join you on your business trip?”

“If you don’t wanna go, forget I asked. Melvin didn’t feel like elaborating.

Jocelyn bit her lip, her mood lifting a bit, “Is it still possible to snag a plane ticket now?”

Melvin didn’t reply, just whipped out his phone and checked, his eyebrows knitting slightly.

Jocelyn leaned in to peek at his phone screen, and in a slightly theatrical tone said, “Oh no, looks like there are no seats left.

Melvin put away his phone, “Guess it’s just not your lucky day.”

“Yeah, I’m not worthy. Jocelyn said with a sarcastic twist.

Melvin looked at her sideways, “Can’t you speak nicely for once?”

“I didn’t curse and I wasn’t rude, so how was I not speaking nicely?” Jocelyn retorted.

Melvin was speechless.

After a while, Melvin asked again, “Do you really want to go with me?”
