Chapter 1 May not live for more than ten months

On September 5, 2017, Nikki was informed of a bad News. “Mrs. Carson, your gastric cancer has

reached its terminal stage. Without timely treatment, you may not live for more than ten months. Please

be prepared...”

Nikki could hardly believe that such a health examination would bring her to God so closely.

“Ryan, I want to have a baby.” Nikki said.

Ryan immediately lost his interest. He wiped himself with paper towels, and said to Nikki mercilessly,

"Our marriage is your father's arrangement, however, I never expect you to give birth to a child. Giving

up this idea and don’t mention it anymore. Just stay contained as being Mrs. Carson. Don't let me lose

interest in you."

Nikki looked down, feeling extremely heart-broken. She was clear about the fact that Ryan never fell in

love with her, but she has been loving him for 13 years. What a sad story!

"Is it because of her?" Nikki questioned.

Ryan stopped, and his eyes turn cold.
